Pours a beautiful clear golden straw color with a creamy white head that provides a nice amount of lacing. The nose features very nice lemongrass and white bread aromas, on point for the style.
The lemongrass is the diva on the taste, loud and proud and upfront, but I am really digging that white bread taste in the background that provides the foundation for this crisp, clean kolsch.

Poured into pint glass: color is straw, super transparent, head is off white and presents a scant 1/4 inch thick, then dissipates to nothing but limited ring on the glass sides.
Smell is sweet malt, light hops, very pleasant styling in the Kolsch style.
Taste is similar with sweet base malt, noble hops, ale yeast byproduct; not sure what it is but love the Kolsch style and most of the variants even on the US side. This seems a bit sweeter and maltier but still much different than lagers of the same hop/malt composition.
Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation on first pour, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall a moderately sweet, easy drinking ale - very nice example of Kolsch, if a bit sweet/malty.

A little thicker and less clean tasting vs a lager. Not as crisp. Has a decent sweetness that goes away slow There is a bit of a flat aftertaste that sticks in the mouth too long. Good blonde color, lame head. This might be best drank straight from can. Funny how that is.
Still, I think my favorite beer types are lagers and stouts. Doubt I will buy this one again but glad I did. Cheers!
Note: This beer tastes best drank from the can. You pour it into glass at your own peril. It totally loses its identity.

Can. White head with lace. Clear golden color.
Definitely not a kolsch so I don’t know why the cab says so. Malty. Bready and biscuity. A touch of earthy hops. Not much here. Simple. Definitely more of a blonde so don’t read the can.

Got this beer on tap back in 2016 while staying at the Embassy Suites in Scottsdale Arizona after a late night flight from the hotel bar. This beer after a long flight was amazed and drank smooth and great taste to the pallet. Wish I was back in Arizona now enjoying this refreshing beverage!

12 oz. can:
Pours clear golden. White head is a bit fizzy. Trailing lace slides down the glass with some sticking.
The smell is of cereal/grain, floral, hint of lemon. Very true to style.
The taste is of a kiss of sweet grain, floral dryness with a hint of lemon in the finish.
Awesome feel. Very refreshing. Light with just the right of lingering dryness. Light without being fizzy or watery.
An excellent example of a traditional Kolsch. True to style and very easy to drink. Full in character while being a light, easy-drinking brew.
