Appearance: Pours a deep brown with a khaki film that fades to a ringlet; speckles of lacing
Smell: Subtle Bourbon aromatics meld with chocolate malt and the adjuncts of vanilla, cinnamon, coffee beans and licorice; bends toward the sweeter side
Taste: Chocolate, licorice and vanilla forward with the Bourbon emerging; after the swallow, the cinnamon and coffee cut into the sweetness and bring complexity to the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation
Overall: The mouthfeel is a little thin by today's standards but the flavor profile is good
Thanks, Rug, for the opportunity

Had at Extreme Beer Fest. The beer poured with a black appearance and a thin, light brown head. Nose was rich in chocolate and coffee flavors mixed with light malts and dark fruits. The beer tasted great with a nice mixture boozy and malty vanilla alongside mocha-chocolate flavor. The mouthfeel complimented the beer by giving it a creamy texture and medium carbonation. Overall, this was a really good.

On tap at carriage inn saloon.
Little be lighter than black.
The nose is amazing. Tons of coffee and I get a little bit mint?? A bit of nut too.
Amazing taste, little bit smokey but lots of coffee and chocolate. No heat what so ever
Great mouthfeel and good carbonation.

Batch released on 11/13/2015. 750ml bottle served in a tulip. Pours the color and clarity of cola with a creamy, one-inch, khaki-colored head that sizzles and pops as it gradually recedes into a bullseye dollop in the center and a band around the shoulders. Spots and swaths of lacing are present during the tasting. Nose suggests whiskey notes, cocoa, a trace of vanilla and lactose. Taste consistent with nose - the whiskey is quite present in the flavor profile and imparts a nice buttery character to the mix. Mouthfeel is a little light for the style, but not overly so. Carbonation is pleasant and shy of lively. There's a residual alcohol burn at the back of the throat that lingers between quaffs. Overall, a really enjoyable beer - another great offering from the guys at Proclamation. So far they can do no wrong in my opinion.

A lot of vanilla on the nose. With coffee and licorice as well. Taste follows the nose, but a bit less sweet and alcohol is apparent in the finish. I like it. Well done!

Pours a dark brown color with a wispy and thin light brown head.
The nose is oats, raisins, vanilla, chocolate, licorice and a bit of coffee malt. The flavor is roasted oats, light earthy hops, dark fruit, chocolate malt, vanilla and moderately sugar sweet. The finish is pretty clean, slightly bitter, full flavored. Good amount of booze, but not overpowering.
This is one of the better beers I have had from RI and I look forward to trying more of their stuff.

Comprable to KBS, virtually perfect beer for my palate. Just absolutely love it.
Barrel on the nose, it goes down extremely easy for 10% ABV, just enough woody barrel on the back end for me. It's very drinkable (been bottle aged about 5 months). Ok, time to pour another 6oz :-)
