Look: Hazy golden amber with a thick sticky head. Smell: Big fresh juicy citrus hops, grassy hops, more citrus, a bit heavy and boozy, sticky and sweet. Dank.
Taste: A big bite of fresh apricot and pineapple followed by peaches and a grassy earthy hop that flows in to bring the sticky sweet malt as the peach notes linger. Delicious.
Mouthfeel: Chewy and resinous. It's a big beer and sits big on the tongue. Finish is sticky but not cloying with a slight booze warm on the finish.
Overall: Another killer brew from this team. It's big and sticky but those beautiful hops notes truly shine through and put this brew over the edge. The booze could be dialed in a bit more but this is their first batch on a new system and for me it competes with the big boys in Vermont and blows away brewers with much bigger systems. Rhode Island we have a gem here. Do the right thing. Drink local.

Had this on tap at Doherty's in Warwick, RI. Excellent ipa, fresh and hoppy. Excited to see so many local Brewers making quality beers in southern RI/ eastern CT: Proclamation, Tilted Barn, and Beer'd all within 30 minutes of my front door!

Hazy, golden, tasty, very drinkable. Definitely worth a trip to try it. I believe it's also on tap at a few places around RI. I have a howler in my fridge right now and want to open it, but it isn't 8am yet ;-(

Bought in an 16 oz. can dated 8/1/16 in Wakefield, RI. Poured into a tulip glass.
Hazy yellow, with little head that fades to naught. Some lacing.
Tangerine, citrus, and pine in the nose.
An appropriately piney, bitter, hop flavor dominates with an interesting and pleasant hint of sourness. As others have stated, no malt flavor here. But I like it.
This beer has a solid, chewy mouth feel I relish. Surprisingly drinkable for 7.5% ABV (perhaps because I just completed a full meal?). While I like and would certainly drink more of this, I don't (yet) agree with others who've asserted that it bests Grey Sail Captain's Daughter, one of my favorite American IPAs. I need a side-by-side comparison and will pursue this quest to be certain. (Life's tough!)
