Had this very fresh, was very refreshing. All around solid IPA, tho perhaps not in the style that neipa has evolved into. More hop bitterness and bite, but not in a bad way. Would enjoy trying again.

I have become fond of IPAs lately. It amazes me trying several IPAs from different breweries all those IPA are vastly different. The style of this beer is the New England style. Thus my quest continues to achieve IPA nirvana. The beer is approximately three months old. This beer comes from the great state of Rhode Island; furthermore, I have not drunk many beers from there. The beer is 44 degrees and served in a nonic. The beer created a beautiful two-fingered creamy and foamy white head. The retention of the head is not as impressive as other NEIPA I have tried. This beer did leave some lacing on the glass. Pale straw color with light golden hues are the color of the beer, thus graphing around SRM 3. I was expecting more haze in the beer. Overall the appearance of the beer is a bit above average.

The initial aromas in the beer are oranges, mangos, lemons, and biscuits. Nosing further, I smell cut grass, herbal, floral, pineapple, passion fruit, crackers, a hint of honey, resin, and grapefruit.

The flavors in the beer are oranges, lemons, mangos, pineapple, biscuit, toasted crackers, herbal, floral, malty sweetness, resin, grapefruit, and a touch of dank.

The mouthfeel of the beer is crisp, a touch astringent, and a skosh slick.

The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and medium finish.

Ripe oranges, lemons, and mango, then develops to resin, band-aid, floral, and herbal, then beer finishes smooth yet bitter. It is a solid NEIPA, but it does not build depth and character like Treehouse. I know I should not compare it to other beers, but that is the benchmark for NEIPAs

Very nice hazy IPA. Clean taste, refreshing, not bitter, a little fruity. Golden color with a nice head.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale yellow/golden, small patchy head. Aroma is a blend of citrus and dank, lemons, leafy, melon. Taste is a bit toned down from the aroma, focusing on the citrusy flavors. Get your nose in there when sipping, so you can tadte the fruity, juicy flavors while the herbal, dank tones fill your nostrils. Nice!

I've had this before, on draft and growler fills from the brewery, I love it. Can dated 2/5/2020, so 2½ months in. I had 'em much fresher, but.... poured it into a favorite Bolton Landing sorta Sam Adams-style glass. It looked fine, hazy brightish yellow, nice aroma. It aged very well for an IPA I think, tasted fresh and the hops are still shining. This is a GREAT beer. Yippee!

Big thanks to @tasterschoice62 for this can. Poured into a 16oz Troeg’s glass given to me by one mate from another State @jzeilinger my number one trade partner. Pours a hazy orange with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves webs of lace with solid retention and canned on 11/18/19. 4.25

Smell is melon, mango, tangerine, apricot, and some white grapefruit. 4

Taste follows melon, mango, tangerine upfront with apricot and grapefruit in the balanced finish. 4

Mouthfeel is a solid medium, sticky not dry, soft gentle carbonation, and at 7% ABV drinks just like that. 4.25

Overall this is a rock solid NEIPA, nothing dazzles but balanced and tasty. Boring art work that made me skeptical at first. 4

Can from Bridge Liquors in Newport.

A hazy orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks good. The nose is deliciously fresh and fruity with peach, orange, passionfruit, papaya and mango - you know the drill. Mild malt bread notes with minimal bitterness. The palate opens juicy and fruity with minimal pulp and grass. Peach, passionfruit, mango and papaya are noticeable along with plenty of orange as well. Mildly sweet on the finish with lingering hop juice, this beer is quite impressive. Medium light in body and moderately carbonated.

Bottom of can:
Something 5/29/19
Opened on 6/19/19

A hazy (mildly hazy for a NEIPA) frosted golden color. A thin white foam cap hovers, but relaxes pretty quick. Minimal Lacy strands stick around.

The nose is pretty classic for the style, sharp citrus hoppiness with sweet mango, pineapple, peaches and golden malty grains. Tropical and citrusy overall, a pungent nose.

Oooh, the sharp citrus hop flavor really packs a dry, fruity punch. Malted grains of gold pop out next, dry wheat and oats, grapefruit and dry herbals add up to really good complexity.
Mouthfeel that follows is light and dry, then juicy with a crisp edge. Stone fruit flavor's happen next, tangy melon and starfruit and classic piney resin for sure. The flavor relaxes a bit in the middle, mellows down slow.
Mild to medium bitterness, mostly juicy and dry earthy tones dipped in citrus. There are multiple layers of hop charecter with good complexity.

Overall, I find this to be mostly New England style with hints of West coast supplementing, via the big piney tones. Certainly interesting.
