Canned 8/12/22. “Violet had it” stamped on the bottom of the can
Time to dip back into the mixed sour six pack I picked up on my last trip to Proclamation. Their Weisse’s tend to be quite hit or miss for me, but the combination of blueberry and pineapple definitely intrigues me. Let’s crack this open and hope it’s one of the good ones
Pours an opaque pale purple with 2 fingers of pinkish white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
There's definite twang from the pineapple in the nose, avoiding the overly sweet character of some of theirs. I'm picking up on aromas of pineapple juice, earthy wheat, bready malt, jammy blueberry, lemon zest, and light vanilla
Oh man, this is super tart up front which I'm really digging, and then it settles into a nice balanced sweetness. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting pineapple yogurt, sour blueberry, lemon juice, wheat bread, lime zest, and light coriander. The swallow brings notes of pineapple yogurt, vanilla, jammy blueberry, doughy malt, earthy wheat, and lemon juice
A light medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a sharp yet smooth beer. Finishes neutral and dries even more over time
This one is damn good. Nice work Proc

Nucleated Tulip
Look: Hazy yellow in color. Pulled a one finger which dissipated to a small ring.
Smell: Hint wheaty, peachy and a hint of orange. Has that classic citric acid smell.
Taste: Kinda bland. Lightly sour. Peach and orange notes are weak.
Fee: A bite thin, but gently carbonated and crisp.
Overall: It smells great, and looks good. But I wish those notes on the nose pulled into the palate. Its not bad, buts its just bland.
