Pours into a nonic a chill hazed burnt orange with a full finger off white head that settles very slowly into a frothy mass.Herbal/grass and sweet onion stand out most in the nose along with lightly sweet biscuit base, not as fruit as expected. The tropical fruit comes thru much more on the palate, overripe pineapple and mango with that sweet onion coming thru as well,a hefty caramel base holds up to the hops but to me never gets to be too big.A nice hop profile with nearly no bitterness, really nice.

Gold to light brass in color with an inch of densely packed creamy beige head. Moderate lacing. I smell notes of overripe pineapple and mango. I taste that overripe pineapple with hints of mango and a dank, vegetal finish. The mouth is lightly sticky and chewy.

L: Pours hazy amber (SRM 9) with slowly rising bubbles under a ½” off-white moderately persistent foam cap.

S: Caramel, citrus, melon and biscuit aromas.

T: Has a creamy melon biscuit tangerine citrus attack. Hop flavors are medium high with a drying astringency on the finish. Hop bitterness is medium high.

F: Medium body and carbonation.

O: Full flavored and very drinkable.

Underwhelming, new holland should look at adding more hoops to these beers.... the entire hatter series seems to be weak in flavor

Decent look; a golden brown color with perhaps an average head. Smell? Very good. Taste and mouthfeel? Absolutely amazing. Go for this if you like bright juicy hops with just enough malt to add a smooth thickness. It's 7% but I could easily drag my taste buds through several of these.

Very solid IPA from new Holland. Crisp, citrisy, a strong hop forward taste.

Bought this on a whim and was pleasently surprised.
