The pour was typical, black with the light brown head and good lacing. Nice looking, most Dragons Milk variants (and original) are.
The aroma spoke of cinnamon and coffee and sweet malts. A little vanilla was likely rolled into the sweet.
The taste was good, not stroopwafel like but enough of the elements to make it feasible. For me they laid the cinnamon on a bit heavy. Made it sharper than expected.
The feel was excellent, no worries there. Just enough viscosity to remind you to sip, don’t slam this beer.
OA, not my favorite variant but won’t have trouble finishing off the 4 pack.

Another great Dragon's Milk offering from New Holland...
I let this guy age a bit over a year before cracking it open, so glad I did. It had plenty of the heat from the booze, but it wasn't as booze-forward as you would expect at 11% ABV. Even so, it was still boozy on the tongue, but the flavors advertised were there to be pulled out. A good one, glad I had the opportunity to get to this after waiting for it...

Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of vanilla, cinnamon and roasted malts. Taste is sweet caramel with a cinnamon after taste. Slight alcohol warmth. Enjoyable!

Brother passed this along from a stop at the pub. Beautiful black color with thin head that dissipates. Small towers of bubbles rise from within to keep the head active. Barrel aging and stroopwafel work well together for smooth malt, caramel taste. Beer that lives up to its rating and more. Here be dragons never tasted so good.

L: Poured from a 12oz bottle into a sniffer - Jet black pour with about 2 fingers length of head risen. Slight lacing left behind as it dissolves back into liquid form.
S: Definitely picking up some vanilla, caramel, toffee, molasses, malts. Didn't get much of the bourbon or the chocolate in this.
T: Vanilla and cinnamon dominant, getting some slight malts, and cinnamon in there as well. Didn't taste the bourbon or the coffee at all.
F: Medium to medium heavy at most, easy to drink. ABV is well hidden. Good starter beer for sure.
O: I think this is a great beer for people who are dabbling into barrel aged stouts. This isn't overly complexed and definitely the alcohol hides very well. Would recommend to someone starting off and I'm glad I tried this!

L: Medium brown body, fizzy head with decent cling, small pieces of ajunct?
S: Softly boozy, light cola and caramel, toasty malt.
T: That toasted malt comes in first, along with some caramel. The bourbon comes out in the body, along with a hint of cookie dough. Finish has some nutty, coffee notes.
F: Smooth, slight mouth coating, and a tad bit of boozy numbness.
O: Pretty good, the barrel doesn’t steal the show. It’s on the sweet side, and makes for a decent desert stout. My only issue is nothing really stands out; it’s good but lacks much to talk about.

I'm assuming this is the standard Stroopwafel that was on draft accounts during the summer of 2022.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this.
The nose hits with hints of orange and coconut, surprisingly. The sip has a cloying sweetness to it, minus the smoothness of what id expect from some time in the barrel. There’s an artificial finish on this, too.
