2012 Vintage. Poured a slightly hazy orange-ish color with an off white head. In the aroma, a fresh grapefruit like hops and a small rye presence. In the taste, dry notes of rye, mellow grapefruit like hops. A small hop bite and medium bodied mouthfeel, with a dry rye and small hop citrus in the aftertaste. Overall this was a very good beer and will search for more.

From old, undated notes. Had this on draft.
Clear red-orange hue.
White head; strong lace.
Grapefruit & pine nose; hint of caramel.
Medium mouthfeel.
Caramel, pine & fresh grass flavor. Crisp & tasty, if not my favorite notes.
Above average.

Appearance: A bit of a bubble show and then the cap recedes to a two inch head; the liquid is amber colored and hazy; decent lacing action
Smell: Malty and herbaceous; caramel and earthy tones abound
Taste: Caramel and earthy tones forward; with the herbaceous element building; spicy rye flavors emerge to some extent, after the swallow, but malts linger through the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: You can count of Total Wine to sell some old beers, this one being a 2014 bottling; maybe this would be better fresh

Globe Drug; 2014; review a week later; 22OZ; overall, even though it was a year old, I still liked this beer.

L: Pours hazy amber with s lifht haze that clears as it warms. White, clingy foam collar descends slowly.
S: Spice, rye spice, earthy hops.
T: Starts creamy, malty and spicy, finishes with an astringency and a grapefruit citrus rind hop bitterness that lingers.
F: Rich creamy texture, medium body and carbonation.
O: Fairly mild, flavorful, refreshing and easy to drink.
