Served on tap in a chalice glass

Appearance – The beer is served a very hazy golden yellow color with a one finger head of white foam floating atop the brew. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading to leave a good level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a grapefruit citrus hop mixed with a moderately strong showing of a grassy and herbal smell. Along with these smells, comes some aromas of a more yeasty nature, a little bit of a hay and grainy smell, as well as some hints of apple and peach fruits.

Taste – The taste begins with a lighter and crisp cracker taste with a bit of a fruity flavor of peach, apple, and tangerine and a decent showing of a grassy and grapefruit tastes. As the taste advances the fruit that was present up front fades all while the grass and grapefruit get stronger, all while with these flavors being accompanied by some yeasty and hay-like flavor. Some lighter notes of lemon and some spice later come to the tongue and with a little bit more grain, and grass coming to the tongue at the very end, one is left with a rather crisp and moderately hopped flavor to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average to slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the moderately hopped and drier flavors of the brew the feel was rather nice and helped accentuate the more refreshing and sharp tastes of the beer.

Overall – A decent Belgian IPA. Not bad overall, but nothing super exceptional.

White Hatter pours exactly what it should be : an apricot/golden color with a tall, frothy, almost cappucino-like head. And it just stays. Forever.

Ripe stone fruits on the nose with canteloupe, coriander, pale malts, spring wheat, clove, candied honey-glazed carrots, and faint pine.

Hits hard with the bitterness of an IPA, but takes a soft curve treading gently ending with plush notes of wheat, coriander, banana, and bubblegum.

Delicate, yet plump with fruit and juices, soft as a feather on the palate, very polite and mild carbonation, and a sticky semi-dry finish.

Why hardly anyone else isn't raving about this beer is beyond me. This is a world class offering and totally worthy of merit.

Appearance is a cloudy light golden brown color with a half finger of head that dissipated quickly. The nose is pleasantly hoppy. The flavor profile is mild with light malt and a dry slightly hoppy finish.

This offering makes for a nice smooth session beer on a warm summer day but there is nothing extraordinary here.

Serve on tap in a tulip glass

This beer pours hazy orange with an underwhelming white head. The beer has a ligt fruity aroma from the hops. This beer is all about the hops. The hop profile is really mid country, there is a lot of pineapple, orange, and lemons zestas well as a lot of other fruity notes. I did not get much of the "white" aspect of this beer but I bet it would be easier to differentiate by doing a side by side with the classic mad hatter. Drinks really easy and quite refreshing. A great white IPA, if my memory serves me right I like this more then the original but I didn't have the original fresh from the tap.
