Pours a clear dark copper/golden orange color with tangerine edges and a half finger off-white head that immediately fades into a thin ring.  Minimal spotty lacing left behind.

Floral, earthy hop aroma with a nice balance of resinous, earthy notes and sweet citrus/tropical fruit charater.  There's a stronger malt presnce than expected with hints of caramel, graham cracker, toffee and biscuit.  Soily with pine needle and spruce tip countered by grapefruit sweetness and zesty orange peel.

Lighter bodied than expected with a earthy hop bitterness that lingers over the sweeter malt notes into a dry finish.  Not overly bitter or resinous but it's pretty dry with lots of spicy grass, soil and pine needle flavor.  Citrus/tropical notes are subtle with some pineapple and orange zest providing a touch of sweetness.  More malt character than expected with caramel sweetness, toffee, bread and biscuit.  Decently balanced and light enough to drink easily but the hop flavor isn't very intersting which is odd considering the use of cascade.

Auburn orange with a lot of unnecessary haze. Not a lot of good lasting head.

Tangy cardboard, perfumey hops, oxidized malts... doesn't smell too good.

Floral hops, some cardboard, wafery thin malts, caramel overtones, and minerality. Yikes.

Feels good. Nice weight in the mouth. Carbonation provides some good airiness.

Yeah... about no bottle dating...
