a: super creamy looking, hazy dark orange color with a creamy off-white head that pours 2 fingers but fades to a 1/2 finger
s: nice pungent, almost dank tropical fruity aroma hits you as soon as you crack the can open. pineapple, tangerine, guava, orange zest, and a bit of dank grapefruit. candied strawberries and a creamy sweetness. some nice citrus bitterness in here as well as a touch of raw hop aroma. a hint of caramel and crackers. very cream and pungent pineapple in the aroma
t: creamy pineapple, mango, and melon upfront. a touch of grapefruit bitterness behind that with a touch of raw hops which actually helps and isn't a negative thing. creamsicle ice cream and some orange sorbet. loads of citra in this with some mild orange zest on the back as well for balance
m: super creamy, fluffy medium mouthfeel with low carbonation. just what you want from a hazy
o: this is an awesome DDH hazy beer. super creamy, tropical but mellow. faint bitterness for balance, and has quite a bit of drinkability even though it's so creamy. great beer for the style

Pours cloudy yellow gold color with a 1 finger thick white creamy head that faded slowly and left very nice foamy rings as it went down. It smells of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, orange peel, papaya, tropical fruit, citrus hops, fresh cut grass, tea leaf, piney notes, fresh cut flowers, biscuit and honey.
Tastes of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, honeydew melon, orange peel, piney notes, papaya, apricot, tropical fruit, citrus hops, fresh cut grass, tea leaf, biscuit, light peppery spices, fresh cut flowers, herbs and honey. The malt backbone is mild but adds enough balance to help keep this brew smooth and easy to drink. The bitterness helps mask the 7.4% ABV masterfully.

Thick orange juice bright golden hazy look with a thinning white head. Piney dank forward nose with some sour fruits behind, interesting. Very even tempered fruity dank flavor with low bite. Great slightly creamy feel with the right amount of moderate carbonation.

On tap at the WOB in Bethesda. Served in a small stemmed tulip. Cloudy yellow with a small white almost creamy head. Aroma is almost not there, more herbal hoppiness. Taste is Not particularly fruity or citrusy. Coating and a bit chalky. A less carbonated cloudy Zima.

Hazy honey gold color on the pour. Thin finger of bone head floats on top and the beer does have legs.
Citrus and pine on the nose. A bit of dankness coming up.
Like the nose citrus and pine on the taste. Does have a nice balance of malt background for balance.
The mouth is pretty light for a 7.4 ABV IPA. Does have a bit of bitter hops that linger for a minute.
Nicely balanced IPA. I like the fruity pine that fits the style. The malt balance is real nice. Not making the bitter overwhelming. The finish ids a bit slick and the mouth is not really to much to take on. The beer does have a bit of alcohol warming to it as it comes to temperature. Nice IPA and well crafted. Cheers.

Duvel Tulip style glass
Sunburst golden orange body, unfilitered look. A thick capper of khaki tan foam forms and then slowly resides back down into the glass hugging its walls. The nose is invitingly juicy with grapefruit, lemon zest, earthy dank and light floral pines. Flavors follow in a bit of a jumbled fashion. There is a moderate high level of earthy bitterness with a sugary fruit malt balance and soft creamy texture. More citrus, pine, and dank notes. Nice bitter pop to it.
My first OH brew and it was just okay for me. Solid IPA but not too remarkable. Not sure if this is one of their better offerings here but glad for the experience. Would still like to have again for more research.

Nose > Round & aromatic, earthy, herbal, dank flowers, lavender, tangerine & lime-cream. So integrated both on nose & palate; like an entity.
Palate > Big, round, earthy, juicy & pungent. Lavender, Ugli-fruit, unsweetened whipped cream, & some underlying dank white flowers. Hazy, earthy, herbal #JuiceBomb. Low IBU's. CryoCitra & Amarillo 8/12/19

Bold yellow orange, with chicken stock clarity. Huge foamy and frothy white head leaves intricate webbing as it descends. Coarse bubbled cap, like a freshly started fermentation.
My kind of aroma right here. Plenty of fruit with an emphasis on grapefruit and pine. Tropical notes fight for attention.
Surprisingly, the flavor doesn't abide by the rules. Very juicy and fruity, like a Sunday morning brunch. Melon and mango, even cantaloupe are backed by freshly cut grass and earthy and damp pine after thought.
The feel is rediculously smooth and balanced. I mean, I've never had such a well balanced beer of this style! Creamy, lightly carbonated, medium bodied. Excellent feel.
This is definitely unique and one of the better beers I've had in this style due to the roller coaster ride it entails. It smells different than its looks would imply. It tastes different than it's smell would imply. It feels about what you'd expect but better. Great brew.
Cheers and thanks for again Jay!

Pours a hazy orange with fine, soft head.
Smell is juicy and tropical with notes of pineapple, mango, and hints of grass and vanilla.
Taste is soft and juicy, with notes of mango and pineapple. Moderate bitterness with nice bite and a grassy finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice NE IPA, balanced but with some bite.

other half does these juicy dry hoppy east coast ones as well as anyone in the game, really they do, and its cool they did a tap event and can release at trve this weekend, the first i have really seen of their beer in the state here, i hope it keeps up. this is a citra forward multigrain ipa, with some oats and wheat in the mash i would think, its feel is so important to how the hops are tasted, at least for me, especially in this style, where the creamy, effervescent, fuller bodied softness really carries the hops, it doesnt need bitterness with this texture, i love it. a concentrated freshness, almost a cryo intensity, with lemon and lemongrass notes, some grassiness, fresh pineapple, and a little crystalline sort of sweetness to it, like a confection of hops, but just for a second, fresh and juicy to the max, but not unbalanced, as the grain has some flavor as well. it could be a touch drier and much more drinkable as a result, but as a sipper of an ipa, this is better than most. an intense hop flavor, quite tropical, super fresh, and while not the most dramatic or unique of the beers i had from other half this weekend, i really thought it was excellent!

I find this beer to be quite stupendous.
Poured a beautiful orange glow like it was graced by the hands of angel; flavor is just supreme; real light, but deep juicy hops as good as Angela Lansbury solving her latest crime. Would I “Gaslight” Ingrid Bergman to get my hands on another one of here beers? I think I would.

16 ounce can, no date seen. Poured into tulip pours a hazy lemon yellow, with peach highlights. Spotty lacing covers the entire insides of the glass. Beautiful nose of tangerine, orange, guava, lemon meringue pie. Much of the same in the taste-lemon zest, pine tree, pineapple, grapefruit pith.
Clean, smooth, crisp dry finish.

drinking this at well over a month old and holy shit im blown away. had this alongside DDH mosaic daydream and ddh mylar bags from the same batch, this one easily stands out as the best which surprised me. pours out a ridiculously beautiful hazed golden orange color, bright white head is creamy and has some soapy bubbles atop. nose is bubblegum, pulpy OJ and a hint of danky pine. on palate it is insanely ripe mango, pineapple, guava, orange creamsicle, lcyhee, melon, peaches, grapefruit, lemon, super creamy and sugary bread notes, hit of bubblegum sweetness and some subdued pine on the finish. mouthfeel is fluff, insanely delicious stuff!!

Appearance: Pours a murky honey color with a sturdy inch of foam; plenty of lacing hangs around
Smell: Guava, papaya, pineapple, mango and tangerine
Taste: Guava and papaya forward with the stronger tones of mango and pineapple building; tangerine adds some bitter tones into the middle but the finish is a tropical melange
Mouthfeel: Medium body with creamy, moderate carbonation
Overall: One of the more quaffable NE IPAs from Other Half that I have tried; very enjoyable
Thanks, , JBYRD64, for the opportunity
