From a can, pours a very hazy orange. Smell and taste are a solid juice bomb, Nelson-style. Nice tropical fruit and white grape juice. Smooth, creamy feel. So good!

i think this has to be the best other half beer i have ever had, and perhaps the best expression of nelson hops i have ever seen, i mean seriously, what a beer!!! very pale beige hazy color from the can, head as high as the liquid is in my tulip. aroma is blasting with white grape, white peach, honeydew melon, and tropical oily goodness, lupulin heavy, all dry hopped, and just tantalizing to all of my senses! the base is simple, sort of starchy and bigger, but dry and without a ton of flavor, it creates a nice rich feel without interfering with the hops at all, nice. hazy likely due to grains like wheat and oats, not some intentional process, although who really knows. the flavor of these hops a re incredible, ripe chardonnay, bruised peach, canned pineapple rings, and golden raisins, its insane how much i am getting from these hops, which also have lime and green grass elements. this is about as alive as nelson gets, and if you still dont know what these special hops taste like in beer, this is it. the essence of freshness, all the glory of nelson in each sip. round feeling and well carbonated, dry, with just the hop residue lingering on the tongue. amazing expression of one of my favorite hops, as good as it gets right here folks!

L - swampy brown with a nice orange hue. Great lacing.
S - wow, one of the stronger-smelling Nelson beers out there. Deeply kalamata olive and robust white wine with monster notes of oak and vanilla. Smells heavenly.
T - so much Nelson. Hammers home the vinous grape flavors and buttery Chardonnay. Not as much as I was expecting based on the nose, but I'm pleasantly surprised with the addition of ripe tropical fruits a la papaya and mango. Still very heavy on the buttered biscuit. Finishes smooth and creamy.
F - low in carbonation and velvet to the tongue. Lines up with the aged maturity this beer lays out.
O - once again, OH proves they are the masters of the single hop. Everything I love about the Nelson hop is on display here. Elegant and artfully crafted.

Opaque gold color, rather like juice, under a few fingers of ivory foam; lace trails behind as the head and beer subside... Featuring the Nelson hop, the beer brings a juicy fruit bouquet down to earth with a wine-like refinement... Suggestions of unripe mango and hints of black pepper... sharp and crisp, medium-light feel, ample carbonation, and moderate bitterness... Nothing too crazy here, but a well-executed vehicle for the hop... 9/6/17 canning...

Pours a very hazy orange with a one finger head that hangs around for a long time and leaves tons on lacing. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits, pine and a bit of funk. Tastes of grapefruit, orange rind, apricot, pineapple, a hint of lemon, grass and onion. Medium bodied and carbonation, creamy mouth feel, finishes with mild to moderate bitterness and slightly dry. The onion comes put more as the beer warms as well as some funk on the finish.

Poured into a 13 oz Lost Abbey long stim tulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a very hazy orange with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves loads of lace behind.
Smell is apricot, tangerine, peach, pinapple, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows apricot, peach, pinapple, tangerine, and grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is on the large side for 7% ABV, lively enough, a tad dry, and drinks very easy.
Overall this one was a little bit of a let down from all the others from this brewery, that being said this one has a much different flavor profile from all the others. Thx @Rcruz9230 for this one also.

Picked this up at Other Half when it was released and finally got around to it tonight. I knew that this was one of their first cans way back and knew that this was the first time it was back out in quite some time. It had that early-on feel to it as it featured one hop and a relatively simple and light taste to it.
The pour to this was decent as the beer had a mango hue to it with more than enough head and a good enough amount of lacing that was left behind once I started to work my way through it. Lots of Nelson hops, tropical fruit, and grass in the nose with more fruit in the taste to go along with the somewhat dank and fresh bitterness. Some tangerine juice rounded this out as the beer as there was a balanced mouthfeel without any discernible type of malt. Not a lot of carbonation to this either as the lively honeydew and melon stuck around long after the liquid went down.
This was easygoing when it came to the alcohol as I could have crushed another one after this was finished off. It was a nice touch to have "Ha Ha!" written on the bottom of the can under the date of 1/20 as I love The Simpsons of old as this beer wasn't close to having a cow over. Worth a go once as a flashback to Other Half's single-hop roots!
