A: Orange, graipfruit, mango, apricot, and bready malts.

A: straw yellow and somewhat hazy, light to medium carbonation. Falls to a light ring around the glass.

F: apricot, orange, grapefruit, and bready malts mixed with moderate to high bitterness. Well balanced IPA

M: medium full body with lingering bitterness and some citrus fruits.

O: great IPA. Good balance of seeetness to bitterness and we’ll rounded aroma to flavor.

Drinking it out of the can just moments after picking it up at Other Half's can release. Loved it on tap at the All Green release a couple months ago and I was looking forward to it getting canned. For me it stole the show from the All Green we were buying but not everyone will agree there. It's just everything that I look for in an East coast IPA.

L - Hazy opaque light orange and gold.

S - big blast of tropical fruit hops. Big and sweet. The kind of IPA you could crack open at arms length and still get plenty on the nose.

T - lots of tropical fruits again with some hoppy pine resin.

F - thick but drinkable, doesn't feel like you're filling your stomach with syrup like a lot of imp ipas might.

Overall - again, everything I look for in an East coast IPA.

Have been a fan of Other Half Brewing for a bit but always thought they were eight nine tenths of the way to an average Trillium or Treehouse ale. But this beer I would say is on par with them. The look is hazy very similar to the Julius from Treehouse. Big tropical tart nose, you can smell this beer from a foot away! The taste follows the nose. This is a 8.5% pct beer but drinks like a bigger beer. Big grapefruit, orange peel on the taste. Nice bit of malt sweetness in the end.

A - Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow color with a generously thick white lacing, soft but steady carbonation. As the beer warms a little, what little haze present totally dissipates.

S - Juicy bright citrus aroma, pineapple, papaya, mango.

T - Pineapple, sweet juicy grapefruit, mango, nectarine, all with a very small amount of spicy rind (not much, but it's there). The alcohol also starts to poke through as the beer warms up. Ends with nice fruit bitterness.

M - Medium body gives way to a creamy finish, lingering tropical fruit bitterness. Coats the mouth with juicy tropical fruit. Around half way through the can the walls of the mouth start to feel cotton-like from all the hop goodness.

O - A very good beer that's fruity without getting too sweet, definitely a bombardment of hoppy goodness. I know I'm scoring lower than most reviews here but I think as the beer warms the alcohol presence starts to interfere and detract from the beer.

Had a glass at Coppers (Chelsea). Ridiculously hoppy, of course. The stone fruit really pop. It turns a little tropical and then slides into more biting citrus. My only complaint is the slight astringency, likely from all the hop particles.

Picked this up on Saturday, which was the last time that Other Half had a release. I think that the label for this should have been the one for the Make it Rain collaboration, but aside from that, they nailed everything when it came to this beer. The hop selection worked well here and with the alcohol being so recessed, the flavor profile, texture, and warmth all shone through while staying perfectly balanced, as well!

Good pour to this, as the beer had a golden hue with a fair amount of haze and sediment to it. The head was smaller than expected and there wasn't a lot of lacing left behind on the side of my pint glass, to boot. Lots of citrus, stone fruit, earthy hops, and yeast in the nose with more of those in the taste, as the tropical fruits and hop oils really shone through in the taste. Juicy orange hits up front, followed by the mango and papaya stone fruit as the piney oils and soothing resin soon kick in. Not terribly carbonated, this was still thick enough to savor as the flavors stuck endured for the duration. Bright nectar and a soothing sweetness lingered in the aftertaste as a faint grassy undertone could be discerned from start to finish.

This was strong enough without being overpowering as the alcohol could be felt once I finally finished this off. I'm so impressed with Other Half and how they've contributed to the beer scene int he Big Apple and this *might* be the best offering that I"ve had from them. IPA's are a dime a dozen but anyone enamored with them or Other Half's other offerings needs to give this a go - even without a freshness date on the bottom of the can, this tasted like at tap beer while standing head and shoulders above most of the stylistic peers that this could be compared to. Fabulous stuff!

Poured a slightly hazy golden-yellow color with a small, off-white head. Great aroma. Dank and citrusy. Lots of pine/resin bite up front with some sweet citrusy kick. Subtle caramel maltiness.

On-tap at The Redhead, New York, NY

A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color and has some hints of amber hues. It poured with a short off white head that died down, leaving a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Strong aromas of resinous hops are present in the nose along with some notes of citrus.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of resinous hop flavors and a moderate amount of associated bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The hops lend a very strong "bite" to the mouthfeel.
O: This beer has an intense amount of hops and a nice "bite" in the mouthfeel. It also does a very good job at masking any traces of alcohol from the taste.

The beer hits of sweet mango, grapefruit and orange peel, a medium biscuity malt, onto more heavy dankness and resin with a bitter pine finish. Next to "!," this offered a touch more malt, but still great drinkability for its ABV.

Sizeable white head and good lacing. Slow fade and light covering.

Great nose that has tropical fruits and pine in the front with an undercurrent of citrus.
Light grains with a caramel sweetness. Pepper and faint fusel booze.

Superb flavor. Tropical fruit and sweet malt combine to make the front deceptively luscious and mild and then BAM. Hop heaven. Grapefruit skin finish is hard and astringent. Short dry and clean with a bit of evaporative alcohol adding it the dryness.

Crisp and velvety carbonation that has a suppleness over the tongue. Easy drinking.

A great DIPA that goes down like a summer session ale.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a semi hazy burnt orange color with an inch of frothy head. Lots of lacing. Super fruity aroma of berries and tropical fruits. Juicy. The taste is lots of Mosaic hops with citrus and tropical fruits. Piney notes towards the end with a berry/stone fruit finish. Very bitter and pretty boozey. Dry mouthfeel. Overall, awesome.
