From a 16oz can, dated 05/16/21. Served in a spiegelau IPA glass.

Pours a thoroughly hazy pulp-free orange juice with two fingers of soft, lathery foam. Retention is excellent, leaving a pouffy cap and a tattered curtain of lacing. Looks right.

The nose is yeasty-bready with lots of fruity esters, mostly undifferentiated, but put a gun to my head and I guess I’m smelling some peach and bubblegum.

Taste is sugary and hot, reminiscent of some sort of muddled cocktail. Letting the alcohol slowly dissipate off my palate, I taste super-sweet overripe strawberry, mango jam and sugar cookies.

Feel is juicy, syrupy, medium bodied and no more than adequately carbonated. There’s an ethyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) drying sensation at the end.

Overall, this is not fine brewing. It’s quick and dirty, and hot and boozy, but goddamned if it doesn’t scratch an itch.

Like Alain Delon in Le Samurai, this dang thing is smooth! Very dry and pithy. Kind of lacks in the after taste like a Stormy Daniels quickie. Good nonetheless.

A draft pour at Burial Brewing Asheville.

Appearance- A dingy yellowish-orange color with almost two fingers of thick white head. Awesome lacing down the entire glass.

Smell- An awesome mix of apricot, fruit, and pine. Such a great mix that leaves you wanting more.

Taste- Nice apricot with a good mix of grapefruit and piney bitter hoppiness. Really good

Mouthfeel- Medium carbonation with a fantastic dry finish. The flavors just linger.

Overall- A phenomenal NE style IPA with a nice finish. Definitely recommend this one.

Honestly one of the best NEIPAs I've had. The Mosaic hope is truly the smoothest and creamiest hop for sweet delicious beer. I have maybe 30 different OtherHalf beers and this is there best one. I probably even think it's better than the DDH version.

16oz. can into a Surly teku. Shared with schen9303

Nose is citrus, pineapple, pine and honeydew with a dank hop bitterness. Real juicy. Beer opens tropical fruit upfront. I get hints of melon, papaya, mango and pineapple. A touch grassy in the back with just the slightest bitterness. More fruit rind than anything. Dry, fruity finish. Excellent. Light to medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Foamy on the palate and bone dry going down. Super crushable despite the ABV.

A really impressive offering. This is quite representative of what OH can do when they're on their game.

such a delicious beer profiling maybe the most delicious hop variety. the ddh version of this is also quite spectacular, but i may prefer this one without the extra hop assault. mouthfeel is creamier/thicker in this most recent batch (canned 5/19/17 "juice bomb") than what i remember from previous batches.

Mosaic hops are a hybrid of Nugget and Simcoe, so it should surprise no one that there is a wide array of fruity notes both in the nose and on the palate. Deliciously chewy, this DIPA might certainly qualify as sessionable at 8.5% in hophead circles, and I'd concur. Hazy and thick, but rich in flavor and extremely satisfying. Would pair well with a host of foods and it shines by its lonesome. If you drink it in the right glass (meaning NOT a shaker glass, but a true IPA glass) you're in for a treat, as olfaction and retro-olfaction are enhanced in every sip. Double Mosaic is indeed a Dream.

Can given from a friend was from 12/29/16 so granted not fresh but it drank amazingly, hop aroma prob suffered but the beer held up great, appearance was thick orange with creamy carbonation, big juicy ripe/papaya/candied orange tastes with rose petal floral notes that makes Mosaic my favorites, bitterness probably is less than when freshly drank but it drank amazingly, OH doesn't dissapont, cheers!

Hazy murky deep golden, big white head and great lacing. Huge citrus aromas. Notes of sugar coated grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple and orange pulp. Medium body, coats the pallet and leaves a nice linger and dry finish. Seriously amazing, so good I almost forgot to write this review.

Poured into a 13 oz Lost Abbey long stim tulip glass canned on 2/3/17. Pours a very murky yellow orange with a two inch sticky white head that leaves behind plenty of lace.

Smell is guava, apricot, honey, pine, and grapefruit rind.

Taste follows apricot, papaya, guava, honey, and piney grapefruit in the slightly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is a big medium, plenty of life, slightly dry, and excellent drinkability for 8.5% ABV.

Overall this is another excellent brew from @Rcruz9230.

Good lord, all these guys do is pump out outstanding NE-style IPAs and DIPAs... As usual, grapefruit juice colored ale with a coupla fingers of white foam and some lace sheeting trailing behind. This has something of a lemony grapefruit sweetart bite, maybe something like dank lime around the edges - a nice tropical/citrus character - the bitterness is sharp but not crushing, and the sweetness is clean, tingly, and bright. Relatively crisp and tart, medium-light feel but ample. 2/3/17 canning. Not to be passed up...

Poured a slightly murky orange color with a fingers worth of foamy white head. The nose is all mosaic hops with with tons of fruits like berries and mangos, some pine, and earthiness. Very juicy, slight bitterness, and good malt backbone. Feel is on the creamier side, carbonated well, and slight burn from alcohol. Such a beautiful way to display the mosaic hop!

Canned 11/17/2016, pours cloudy orange gold color with a foamy 1 finger white head that faded very slowly and left outstanding lacing with rings as it went down.

Smells of dank juicy citrus hops, weed, pineapple, orange peel, lemon zest, grapefruit, graham cracker and what oddly smells like B.O. in a good way. Juicy with mild peppery spices that make it complex and quite fruity.

Tastes very juicy with zesty citrus hops, grapefruit, lemon, orange peel, passion fruit, caramel, graham cracker, piney hops, graham cracker, biscuit, buttered wheat bread, mild floral hops and earthy notes which fades sweet and packs tons of citrus flavors. Smooth, flavorful and highly enjoyable.

16 oz. can. Dark orange body. Smells of... wait for it... used pasta water. Yep. I stand by that. Also a strong citrus and garlic hop nose. The flavor is more heavily influenced by the mosaic. Citrus, garlic, tropical. Sweet pale malt. Strong oniony finish. Low bitterness. Medium body. Nice.

Deep gold / light amber and cloudy. Big, fluffy white head. Tons of tropical fruit in the aroma. Some pine mixed in as well. The hops are bold and in your face. No malt to speak of at all. Flavor is unbalanced yet tasty, and the 8.5% is incredibly well hidden. Medium bodies with a bitter finish.

Thanks to Jay for picking up a growler.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a snifter glass.

L: Super hazy and cloudy light to medium orange color with some tiny floaties. Nice one finger white head with full lasting glass lacing.

S: Super tropical with the mosaic really showcasing in the nose. Mango, guava, pineapple, candied fruit and some slight floral notes. Great smell.

T: Tropical fruits are in the forefront as you would expect with the mosaic hops. Mango, pineapple, guava, peach and some grassy flavors. These all mix with the pretty hefty candied fruit malt sweetness. Finish turns into some slight bitterness with a bit of pine and more of the tropical fruits. Drying finish and the alcohol pokes through as it warms. Very good beer.

F: Full, coating, alcohol, prickly and dry.

O: Another spectacular beer by Other Half. Not my favorite of theirs, but still an excellent beer. All they do seems to be fantastic, so I'll be perfectly happy drinking a few of these. I do love this brewery and wish we could get it here in PA.

Bursts of Blueberry set off this Mosaic-emphatic "imperial" IPA. Balanced well by pale malts.

Mouthfeel is apt.

I'll have to revisit this is in finer grain in future for a full review; this is tasty stuff.

Hazy dark burnt yellow orange.

Look is a hazy orange yellow with a full white head with small bubbles that dissipate quickly.

Aroma is mango with bitter orange peel.

Aroma is bitter tropical like a tiki drink with bitters. Lots of mango and orange peel.

L - looked clear coming out of the can but is chock full of haze in the glass. But of a dark burnt orange. Looks like mosaic!

S - oh that's smooth. The way the aroma enters my nose holes is sublime. Sneaky lik creeping fog. Ripe orange and subtle grapefruit. Rich and full, I can't stop sniffing! Stone fruits and soft melon. Not quite cantaloupe, but not quite honeydew, yet you still get the bright, juicy, tender presence. Beautiful aroma.

T - definitely getting some more mosaic here. Gentle spices and sourdough mixed with sharp clementine pith. Faint lemon and ripe peach. A bit of sticky dank sweetness in the middle and toward the finish. Candied mangos... this is liquid juice syrup. I know, syrup is already a liquid! So is juice! Dammit! I'm just having trouble describing this mind-blowingly smooth treat. Let's call it a danksicle. From the get-go to the finish, this is beautiful. Don't even notice the hop bitterness creeping up on the finish. Can't get over the balance.

F - obviously you need a creamy mouthfeel for creamy flavor and this sure as hell delivers. Low carbonation and all I can picture is my mouth full of liquid and the beer level slowly going down like draining the water out of your sink. The beer slinks away as its absorbed into my goddamn bloodstream.

O - Other Half is the king of dank brewing, and mosaic is the king of dank hops. This yields an exquisite combination. One of the better beers I've had from OH and one of the better beers I've had period.
