These OH beers are getting better and better. Especially in appearance. This one looks awesome. Opaque copper. Light refreshing tropical citrus nose. Taste is candied hops and sweet citrus. Less bite and not as boozy as most OH IPAs. They've obviously learned something from all these collabs with Trillium, Tired Hands, etc. OH is doing really good things with Motueka blends these days.

Much gratitude to cosmicevan for sending this my way. Other half seldom disappoints, and this is no exception. Can is about 5 weeks old, but still packing a ton of citrus hoppiness. Nose is grapefruit, with some orange grassiness in the background. Flavor is more of the same, just fantastic. Juicy while still being dry, and very hazy. Wish I lived closer to the brewery!

Canned on the 1/6/17, an opaque peach-colored, New England-style ale packing tons of juicy tropical fruits - pineapple, grapefruit, and a generic citrusy burst - medium-bodied and soft, plush carbonation, super-drinkable and fresh-tasting. A real winner...

Super hazy as expected. Smells like fresh wort in the front but has a mild yet impactful dry hop aroma. Taste starts out very clean with a little fruitiness but then opens up to a semi-astringent tone as the bitterness starts to take hold. After multiple sips are taken, there are grapefruit find, orange pith and lemon notes. Would never have guessed this was higher than 7% Kind of dry and almost tart. Overall this is much different than what I expected, but in a good way. It has the juicy taste and feel while also having the resinous bitterness, both in full force, without clashing. My first Other Half IPA, and it's amazing.

Very hazy, turbid appearance. I know New England IPAs are supposed to look this way but the appearance is a little sloppy. The smell is typical tropical good but nothing memorable. The taste starts out well balanced and does a good job of showcasing the two hops and they work well together. However, as I drank the last few ounces the hops bitterness began to grate on me and I lost interest. Overall a good beer as usual from OT but not one I would seek out if they brewed it again.

16 ounce can into a tulip.

Where's the head on this? Not much there, just a thin film/lace combo. Looks like pineapple pulp or pear nectar. Smells like pineapple, unripe mango and grapefruit pith. Maybe a bit yeasty. Tastes like all types of juicy nectar to start, then comes in a rush of floral and earthy hops. Finish lingers kind of sugary like dem Goya nectars. Feel starts juicy, then fuzzy and prickly and then aggressively bitter. Rich and gooey too and a bit sugary on the finish.

Fuxwitthis.

-cloudy yellow-tan rap pour with a bubblegum-grapefruit nose and 1 cm of fluff atop. The flavor grapefruit with moderate hop bitterness and a persistent sweetness. The finish is a tad hot.
