Growler into pint glass. Pours a very hazy dark gold with a substantial and persistent off-white head. Great lacing. Initial impression is somewhat sweet citrus, mango, pineapple, and pink grapefruit. Mouthfeel is soft and somewhat sticky. Finish fades to the aforementioned citrus and a touch of pine resin. Overall, another thoroughly enjoyable NEIPA from Other Half.

16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours a hazy pale orange with a one-finger creamy white head that reduces to a thin film on top
S- aroma is citrus and tropical fruits initially; zesty grapefruit, juicy tangerine, mango, pineapple, peach & a hint of cheesy funk
T- juicy citrus dominated up front with zesty grapefruit and pithy orange. Mid-palate gives tropical notes of green melon, pineapple, mango and passionfruit. The finish gives more juicy and zesty citrus
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a slightly creamy finish

a glorious ipa, and for all the noteworthy and delicious hoppy beer other half makes, this one immediately leaps to the top of the list or darn near it for me, a delight to find on tap, and one of those sneaky double types that shows no sign of its alcohol strength and is so flavorful and interesting that its hard to set the glass down, a dangerous one indeed! it looks creamy headed, pale and uniformly hazy, super bubbly and active, and oddly light and clean for the style, they make a lot of beers thicker and denser than this one, thats for sure! at the peak of freshness, this absolutely pops in the nose, with some lightly spicy hops up front, bigtime cantaloupe and orange in the middle, and bright lemon, key lime, and heady grapey sativa later on, a concentrated almost candied hop vibe, some cryo hops likely, or some other hop product like it, because this isnt green at all yet seems somehow over the normal saturation point. the flavor is just as pungent as the nose, some tropical character now from kiwi fruit to coconut, definitely some pineapple type mosaic notes in here too, lemon candy, really fresh and punchy. it warms up super well, has a light yeast note which keeps it grounded, and a way lighter than expected grain base, dry for what it is, smooth but minimal in flavor, balanced and refined to a degree rarely seen. i know they do a lot of variants of this, double dry hops and all that, and im sure those are fire too, but this needs nothing, least of all more hops. so many beers try to be exactly what this one is, a borderline gold standard contemporary big hazy, one of the best ive had in a long time and worth every bit of the hype it gets. wow!

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. I've always found Other Half NEIPAs to be inconsistent - sometimes excellent, sometimes mediocre. I had high hopes for this beer, one of their most highly rated, but found it to be sharp and boozy, even given the 8.6% abv. I have to assume that other batches have been much better than this.

Nice look. The initial aroma is a bit funky. With warming the beer’s flavors come out. Lots of citrus, not hoppy. Best at 50°

Pours cloudy, caution light yellow in color with one half inch head. Taste is big melon and dank hops. Medium heavy body, moderate low carbonation, slightly bitter. Excellent ipa that almost has a candy like sweetness. Really like this one.
