Looks like an OH/Trillium collab, a golden, allllllmost transparent hazy orange, with a sudsy head that settles down rather quickly. Smells if very faint, but somewhere, deep in there, I can sense a little sweet orange/citrus zest. Taste is... bland and bitter. Body is watery and equally disappointing. Maybe this one didn't survive the trip across the country, or maybe this batch wasn't as good as the first. I heard good things about this beer, but it just didn't do much for me.

L - 1.5 finger dense yellowish head atoo a cloudy yellow body.

S - orange, sweet candy. Rather faint.

T - orange candies, tree sap, rubbing alcohol, biscuit, caramel. Moderate bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Moderate booziness.

F - medium-full body with average carb.

O - looks and feels the part, but this is one harsh, abrasive-tasting hodgepodge of an ipa.

Looks light golden in color, hazy but not thick. A little head retention minimal lacing
Smell is otherworldly, dank weed, overripe fruits, floral.
Taste follows smell. Some bitterness but it’s walloped by ripe fruit and jasmine.
Feels smooth as butter.
Figured it be hard to go wrong here and this did not disappoint. One of my fav 5th anniversary beers on tap today at OH.

Poured a very cloudy orange color with very little head that disappeared quickly. The nose has a good balance of fruits and malt with light floral notes. Very juicy with a good amount of bitterness to finish it of. The feel is a little thicker than medium with medium carbonation. Great complex beer with tons of malt backbone to stand up to the juicy, dank, bitter hops! Amazing collaboration.

I'm not a huge fan of OH. Some brews are excellent others just average and for what you have to do to get them its not my thing. I do have friends that get some and share and when I heard they were teaming up with Trillium I had to get some and damn was I glad I did. Such a tasty brew. Super juicy - not quite Treehouse juicy but just right and oh so smooth and full of flavor. I just wish they made more. Stellar brew.

Hazy orange with a short lived fizzy head. Orange and pineapple on the nose. Orange grapefruit on the palate. Nice medium to full mouthfeel, good carbonation, and a nice dry bitter clean lasting finish! Thanks Jared.

Hazy, murky orange with a small to medium white head and nice sticky lacing. Huge juicy citrus hop sticky aroma. Notes of orange juice, citrus pulp, sugar sprinkled on grapefruit and stone fruits. Medium body, mouth coating but enough carbonation to push it along and a clean somewhat dry finish. This is a simply stunning, Juicy, hop driven DIPA.

On tap at Civil Society 1st Anniversary. Hazy pale. Odd smell. Citrus and pilsner malt. Light floral nose. Better taste. Citrus and fruity. Almost oily. Creamy. Medium body. Kinda expected more, but still good.

Was really hopeful for this one, but it wasn't on par with other Trillium or Other Half that I've had. Too bitter on the backend. Really threw the whole beer off for me.

Split can from 10/28/16 with "Oh That's Trill" on the bottom, it pours very cloudy piss yellow color with a nice 1 finger white foamy head that faded slowly and left great spotty foamy lacing.

Smells of pineapple, mango, grapefruit, orange peel, tons of citrus hops and then graham cracker, sweet malts, some piney notes and mild spices. Nose is balanced and a pleasure to inhale.

Tastes exactly like it smells but with additions of fresh cut grass, weed, brown sugar, toasted grains, floral hops and clementine. Dank and juicy hops propped up by a solid malt backbone with a kiss of bitterness; pretty much how a DIPA from two powerhouse breweries should be. A great tasting beer with a nice smooth, creamy mouthfeel that slid down easy with mild carbonation and a ton of flavor. I hope they brew this again as it was a great beer.

Fantastic collab by OH and Trill...

A - Super hazy yellow/orange color with a nice creamy head.
S - Smell reminds of other OH beers...lightly tropical with some lemon. Very clean.
T - The smell carries over into the flavor but but the flavor bursts with what is in the smell. Lots of tropical, citrus and lemon. Nice clean bitterness in the finish.
M - Very soft and pillowy but not overly thick/creamy. Coats pretty nicely and finishes dry leaving me wanting more.
O - Another well done collab by these two. Would like more aroma but overall, an excellent double IPA.

Picked this up when it was released at Other Half, as the date on the bottom of the can was 10/28 with "Oh That's Trill!" written above it. This beer was pretty heavily hyped and indeed, this lived up to it. From the 4 variations of the label to the big-time breweries involved with this, there was no doubt that this was a big-time collaboration. At least I didn't have to be out in the street at midnight, unlike some of the people in front of me on line!

If it was possible to ferment orange juice and can it, this is what it would look and appear like - cloudy, dank, and slick, this beer was the epitome of an IPA from these parts without becoming a cliche. Lots of citrus, rind, booze, and dankness in the nose with *all* of those in the taste as well. More melon and honeydew rind in the taste could be detected but that meshed well with the aforementioned notes as this beer packed quite a wallop. Not a lot of head and the same could be said for the lacing but those were the only weak aspects of this as everything else was subtly potent and enjoyable from start to finish. The carbonation was light but on-point as it scrubbed the dankness away and the body was that of stone fruit as this finished dry but just short of requiring a shot of water as a chaser.

There was enough alcohol in here to give this strength but at the same time, it would have been easy to take another one of these and crack it open upon finishing this. I love New York and love my beer and thankfully, this combined the best aspects of both as this collaboration showed everyone how well Other Half is killing it right now. One of their best from top to bottom and with enough candied sweetness and juice to have me wanting more...a lot more. Worth the wait in line, even for those who showed up at the stroke of 12.

Pours a solid orange with a two finger head. Smells of sweet fruity hops and earthy notes. Full bodied thick taste, heavy on the hops and citrus, with a bread-like malt that's hidden behind all the hops. Bitter on the back-end. Tasty collab.

Shout out Jskrillz91 on the plug. Soapy, rocky head. So many tiny bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Smells like lemon zest, cat piss, dank hops. Taste follows nose but the mouthfeel is the highlight... about as soft and luscious as it gets. Insanely crushable. Great collaborative effort from two of the best brewers on the East Coast.

Golden sunset orange color. Off white color lace with head.

I get a bubble gum flavor right away. Then a lot of juice and fruits. Lots of orange juice and pineapple. Nice tropical blend with some mango. A bit of ripe fruit.

Medium bodied. Very soft.

The trillium comes through here a lot and it works well! Straight juice! Very impressed.

Thanks to Mothman for sharing.

Hazy, milky yellow with thin white head which quickly fades.

Aroma is mango, pineapple, and orange peel.

Taste is tropical fruit. Mango. Pineapple. Orange juice. Really smooth drinking, no alcohol or major bitterness.

16 oz can. Pours dull cloudy apricot color, finger white head fades to a lasting ring, coating lace. Huge juicy grapefruit aroma, wow. The nose carries into the taste with big grapefruit and orange juiciness, very tropical with pineapple standing out the most, just enough sweet pale malt backbone. Finishes desert dry, dank herbal n citrus peel bitterness lasts. Medium silky soft mouthfeel. This one is friggin delish!

Very good beer; nice bitterness. My first beer with lupulin powder. I am a Trillium local and drink a lot of their beers, so was excited to try this one. It is nice, and the best Other Half beer that I've tried, but it's behind all of Trillium's IPA lineup in the 8% range.

L - blue can. Also have a black can. Boy, I sure hope there isn't a difference! Pours a delightfully hazy opaque orange cream juice. On the dark side with a bit of a brownish murky tint. Color lets up around the edges, giving it an eerie glowing appearance. Spooky. Sticky head that leaves tons of bubbles on the side of the glass. Dat lacing.

S - huge tropical orange aroma. Dank Trillium and boatloads of candied citrus. Papayas, apricots, mangos. Exotic. Fresh cut ripe pineapple.

T - more and more pineapple! Bubblegum and sugar cane. Spicy and peppery papaya sweetness. Grapefruit zest. Tangy orange peel, reminds me of that little spritz that always manages to shoot directly in your eye when peeling an orange. Except it shoots directly in my mouth. And it's awesome. Has a drying, expansive finish. Hard to explain, but you know how mint cools your mouth and makes it seem like you're breathing in all the air in the room? Probably not, but the way this beer coats my mouth and absorbs all the freshness is incredible. Helps alleviate the sweet sticky hops, imparting an herbal grassiness to balance the scales, leaving a pleasantly subtle lemon candy sweetness. Tidies up and otherwise saturated beer beautifully.

F - the dry finish makes this damn crushable. Usually DIPAs tend toward the syrupy side, but the way this beer lets ooze all the oily hop flavors, then cranks the vacuum to 11 is wild. Gives you just enough to achieve enlightenment, then sucks it all back up in such a way that I'm reminded of Team Rocket blasting off agaaaiiiinnnnnn *ding*

O - needless to say, I can't stop sipping on this. All the Trillium candied stickiness with the classic OH fresh-coast flavor and feel. Crisp and potent, this is the best of all the worlds.

L: Straight hazy OJ and warm yellow orange hues with a thin white head and ample retention
S: Pineapple, mango, and tangerines and a subtle dankness
T: Tropical fruits with a slight pine and crackery malt finish
F: Soft, crushable, and creamy
O: I'm a sucker for pretty much anything these two breweries put out independently, but have absolutely loved their collabs. In my opinion, Like Whoa has been the best of the bunch (narrowly besting Street Green, which was my prior favorite). Huge juicy citrus notes and a soft mouthfeel will never get old in my book and the plethora of hops in this beer provided an intriguing complexity. After Trillium let us all down with the Monkish collab, Other Half decided to take no prisoners and absolutely kill it with this team effort. OH works wonders with their Citra Lupulin Powder additions and this beer is a quintessential showcase for how to do it right.

Draft at Pony Bar UES tap takeover.
I was skeptical at first, because I have the feeling that overhyped beers get ratings higher than they deserve.... this time I was wrong.
This beer is amazing and I totally regret not being there on time for the can release.
Great complexity of flavors that change over time with a citrus (orange) punch followed by stone fruit and tropical (apricot, mango and guava) , then a lingering grassy dankness and light malty carachter. Incredible drinkability, no booziness whatsoever.
Definitely a exceptionally great beer, imho 2nd anniversary was still a tiny bit better, but man, I could drink this one forever

Got to the brewery at 8... line literally around entire city block. I am not going to go into specifics, but I bought over a case of this (line was done by the time i had a beer in taproom) and was planning on trading half a case. Drank one and said screw it... This beer is awesome. Citrus aroma and taste, dank dank dank... so good. Wish it was summer because this beer would go down great listening to the waves in Long Beach!
