Pours golden colored, thick and very hazy, almost looks like orange juice. Big tropical citrus aromas, most noticeably pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, orange. Delicious citrus flavors - lots of pineapple, grapefriut and lemon pith, some dank earthy undertones. Carbonation is appropriate for the beer; crisp and clean mouthfeel. Overall this is a very flavorful DIPA, ABV is well hidden, at 8.5% this can be dangerously drinkable!

Canned 1/04/18, ‘SKRILLA’.

Pours a pale golden orange, hazy goodness. White frothy head, sticky lace.

The nose is very citrusy with a lemon dominance and tropical backbone. Bitter hops round it out nicely.

Flavors are bitter, but still full of citrus, finishes sharp sharp. Hoppy presence, slight booze. Very nice.

The body is smooth and creamy but with a present effervescent carb. Crisp but strong.

On tap at Haymaker, pours cloudy gold yellow color with a nice 1 finger head that faded and left very nice foamy rings. Basically resembles guava or pineapple juice.

Smells and tastes of dank citrus fruit, lemon zest, grapefruit, orange peel, mango, pineapple, tropical fruit, light biscuit and graham fracker, piney hops and mild peppery spices. The dry hopping almost seemed like a wet hopping as it had minimal floral notes that only added accents to the tropical fruity sweetness. Super juicy, well balanced and crushable, this had mild bitterness, mild carbonation and a tremendous overall feel. Wish I would have ended my night with this brew as it was by far the best Other Half offering at the OH event.

A: oaty creamy neipa off the bat, some light lacing and a good head at pour

S: aromas of sweet pineapple , peach mango, passionfruit and berries here from the el dorado

T: Fruit bowl / hawaiian punch here. This is literally just a berry pineapple orange grapefruit blend here on show. All of the amazing flavors come together in a way that they seem like one fruit that is overwhelmingly delicious and you do not have to bite into anything to get to.

M: Thick with mild carbonation. One thing not all OH beers have is a thick body although most do. This is clearly on the thicker side and deliciously well put together from my perspective.

O: Absolute must have for any juice head. Its just great on all of the regular levels from other half but also with some berry additions from the El Dorado which by itself needs a helping hand IMO.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey/orange colored with a one finger head; nice retention and shards of lacing

Smell: A fruit salad with pineapple, peach, guava, berry and clementine orange; dank, with a hint of green onion

Taste: Pineapple and clementine orange forward, and, as the dank bitterness builds, the peach, guava and berry tones mellow out the profile; sugary, but dank and bitter, with a hint of green onion, through the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate to high carbonation; a bit prickly

Overall: Nicely balanced between the fruit and the bitterness, there sweetness becomes a bit cloying by the end of the can

Thanks, JBYRD64, for the opportunity
