Can dated 9/13/17. Look is juicy orange with a white head. Smell is straight tropical fruits with dank. Taste matches with a slight bite that fades immediately. Overall a delicious offering from OH.

Like your beers smooth, grassy, and pithy? Look no further as you've found your match with this offering. Plenty of hops present, that were reminiscent of southern-hemisphere brews from SingleCut. as this smoothly went down with a mild floral and grassy tone to them without the overpowering burn found in so many other American IPA beers. This was nearly enough to make me think that the title was "Southern Hospitality"!

The pour to this was solid as the hue was a dark apricot with more than enough head to top the liquid off. One ring of nearly-complete soapy lacing was left along the top of my teku glass with a few sections of soapy lacing to be found below it. Pithy lime, muted tropical notes, and steady pine filled the nose as they were all found in the taste. A faint but persistent dankness reinforced these notes in the taste as the smoothness was accompanied by a smooth juiciness that helped to mellow this out. Juicy to the taste but dry to the aftertaste, this was an enjoyable contradiction that took a while to decipher. The melon gave way to a moderate but pleasing tropical kick and bubblegum sweetness that ultimately served as this beer's hallmark, and legacy once the liquid went down...

This felt stronger than it was in actuality since the booze complemented the dank and subtle hop nature of this brew. If you're into a beer with a high IBU count without the accompanying burn, you've found your brew here. This was another solid offering from Other Half that proved that a popular release doesn't have to be a hop bomb at the same time. Seek this out if you want something smooth, dank, and full!

A real pith party! If they could liquefy white grapefruit pith and pine air freshener, it would taste like this... Pale gold and opaque, creamy head a few fingers high with lace trailing behind... Sharp pithy and piney aromas preview a super-dry (meaning, not sweet) dip into some serious grapefruit pith and shiny pine flavors... Soft and smooth, but with a paradoxical citric bitterness and drying finish that will challenge the palate to separate the two... Features Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Wai-iti, and Topaz hops, double dry hopped with the Motueka, Nelson, and Topaz. 3/31/17 canning.
