Big thanks to VaTechPhilly for sending this one! Reviewed from notes. Poured from the 16 oz. can into a J. Wakefield OG Club teku glass. I did not make note of canning nor consumption dates, but did note that the can was about three weeks old at the time of review. Batch is from early 2018.

A: Turbid gold with orangish highlights, with a half-finger of white had that has decent retention. Low visible carbonation, but is almost opaque.

S: Tropical fruits for days, orange-forward citrus juice with a touch of ruby red grapefruit. Pineapple and mango and some melon. Some dank and herbal hops as well. Light cracker malts. This is really juicy, but more melon pulls through here than some other NE IPAs – not a ding against it, but maybe not my preference. Nice.

T: Taste follows the nose pretty closely. Juicy tropical fruits, melon, and citrus. Mango, pineapple, and perfectly ripe tangerine. Milder dank earthiness, a mild citrus pith bitterness, and then more juicy citrus and melon. A light cracker malt body underneath, but the hops are obviously the star of the show. Maybe a touch of fullness and soft breadiness from the oats, but it’s not pronounced. Mildly bitter in the hang with an orange juice-like fruitiness.

M: A medium body but this does have a creamy mouthfeel from the oats. This is accentuated by the relatively low carbonation sensation, but it fits this beer quite nicely. Alcohol presence restrained.

O: Really tasty. I think this is my second Other Half beer, but the first that I’ve had a full pour of - and it was really enjoyable. Maybe a little more melon than would be a perfect hop profile for me personally. But very tasty.

L: Crisp golden and apricot hues with a generous white fluffy head
S: Tart citrus, clementines, and a hint of green onion from the Mosaic hops
T: Cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, and tangerines with a delicate, biscuity malt finish
F: Like drinking a cloud - effortlessly smooth
O: This was one of the finest interpretations of a Mosaic-forward IPA that I've had. Incredible flavor depth and richness are married with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel enhanced by the creaminess of the lactose. Easily in Other Half's Top 5 beers - incredible.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with a one finger head of foam; a few strands of lace with each sip

Smell: Passion fruit, pineapple and tangerine with hints of peach

Taste: Passion fruit forward with the tangerine adding a citrusy bite to the middle; on that back end, the pineapple and peach emerge, along with a hint of green onion; very dank but also with elements of sweetness that linger into the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation; creamy with a bit of warmth in the gullet

Overall: The oat and lupulin powder work their magic for another Other Half beer

Thanks, JBYRD64, for the opportunity

This is a beast that I wasn't necessarily expecting to ever get a hold of.. but I'm so glad I did.

This guy pours a hazy golden yellow with a small head of pretty creamy white foam. Nice lace retention as well.

Fresh squeezed tangerines with mild hop presence on the nose. So fresh and inviting, never anymore need for Florida Natural!

Again, a juicy bomb that is just amazing. Clear orange goodness, with more of a hoppiness in the taste than INC the nose, but that's just what it needed.

Great body, creamy and medium gravity. Light but sharp carbonation, and a slight stickiness to go along with it.

While I tried to be slightly liberal with my rating here, this beer is up there. Competing with the likes of hazy whales from Treehouse, Monkish, Trillium and others, this has got to be my favorite OH beer so far. And Fully Loaded Baked Potato was damn good. If you've had that but not DDH DMD, use it as your point of reference for how it'll taste. Cheers!

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours with a very hazy and murky yellow color, with a small white head and lots of lacing.

All of the beers in the Mosaic Dream series have such punchy and inviting aromas to them- there's orange, blueberry cream, grapefruit zest, pine, weed, and mango.

This is utterly delightful. The Daydream treatment really smoothes this one out even further, giving a great lactose sweetness to the big blast of Mosaic goodness here- blueberry, orange, and mango mainly, with a still present piney and slight dank bitterness.

This is creamy and rich, with a nice full bodied, but still a very soft finish. There's a normal level of carbonation.

This absolutely wonderful- certainly one of my top 5 OH beers at the moment.

Poured from can /OH Roc release 4/19.
Brief but beautiful plump fluffy head. Dissipated quickly but excellent lacing. Nose is quiet but noticeable rich orange/tangerine with some bubblegum. Taste is rich. Orange creamsicle with Mosaic on Mosaic. Rounded with mild Tangerine peel bitterness as beer finished. Lactose evident... milk/cream-sweetness. Feel is SO Smooooth. Easy sip/swallow with reasonable brightness in otherwise soft carbonation. Just about perfect for a DIPA... to my preference anyway.
Noticed when this sold out fast... so heightened expectations.
Oat / lactose contributions more in my wheelhouse, and swung this as more enjoyable than another fav... TH Julius.
Now I know why. Just a great IPA.
