here we are...once again...a new beer from other half that commanded so much hype that the lines wrapped around themselves and everyone with this can has a friend somewhere who spent the majority of the night on a sidewalk questioning their existence...so big thanks to fil, feet, and bllllllllll for braving the neckbeards and coming back w beer for the crew, we appreciate it more than you know, and y'all are stark raving mad.

as for the beer itself, it is a surprising slam dunk. extremely drinkable on release day boasting qualities of all three breweries - with the trademark other half bite missing from the equation. this one doesn't need to sit at all to cool off. not too green by any stretch. has that really full body that you find in monkish and the juiciness of trill and the balls of other half hops. is it my favorite beer from other half? no. but is not my favorite other half collaboration? quite possibly. all them hops delivered in a easy to drink format.

...but wait, this is 10%? must be a misprint as this drinks like a 6% single ipa. as a 10% beer from other half...this really reminds me of the third anniversary in that the abv is invisible and the flavor is packed but delicate and focussed. really killer brew. not sure if this was worth that insane wait (is any?)...but at least it is a winner. very happy to have tried and to have a 2nd can to enjoy. prost!

A beer that I never thought I'd have the opportunity to try. An amazing collaboration, and huge thank you to Adam S. in Brooklyn for making this happen.

Look: Pours an opaque creamy gold. Small head of white foam and a good amount of lace retention on the glass.
Smell: A hop dominated aroma, but not without a strong tropical sweetness to go along with it. A clear sharpness from the hop presence, however a really nice pineapple fruitiness follows right behind ina very balanced aroma. Citrus notes can clearly be found on the nose as well, with notes of lemon and grapefruit.
Taste: A full body of flavor that has a dominating citrus flavor initially. Tangerine and bitter grapefruit compliment the hoppiness that stings underneath the tongue (but I promise, this is in the best way possible). This is definitely a beast of a beer. It's so smooth yet so hoppy and with a really pleasant creamy quality as well. But even with the very evident hop profile, you are never at any point overwhelmed by any pithy or piney qualities that can often uncomfortably overtake Imperial IPAs. This one uses a variety of citrus qualities to find a fantastic balance.
Feel: Incredibly smooth with a medium body and seltzery carbonation. Very subtle stickiness but a very crisp feel to it. Medium lace retention, and a nice warmth down the hatch. If it weren't for that, there's no other evidence of this IPA hitting 10%.

This collab was kept people in line for hours and afterwards, found itself with a pretty high trade value. Microbreweries like Monkish, Trillium, and Other Half do things right. They master their craft and make their beer available for the people willing to take time and make the effort to try the fruits of their labor. This collaboration was something special, and if you can get a hold of it, don't pass this by. Definitely try it as fresh as you can.

This was the last of the three beers from Other Half, Monkish, and Trillium that I had to end up trading out for and by far, this was the best out of the bunch. Smooth, slick, and addicting, this had so much going on but ended up working out well in the end as it was extremely tough to keep in my glass for the duration of this review!

Solid pour to this as the beer had a murky and juicy deep orange hue with a hint of purple mixed in, as if it were squeezed straight from a plum. Tons of citrus juice, tropical fruit, pillowy hops, cream, and fruit sweetness in the nose with more in the taste. Lots of booze, cream, pine, and onion-like bite, which gave way to the oats and wheat in the body. Potent and yet accessible, this beer finished off clean and sharp with hints of mint, melon, and earthy hoppiness. How did these three guys make something that meshed so well together and had me wanting more in the end?

This was strong but you'd never know it from the taste. The booze was there but with so much going on and a wondrous slickness left behind, who would notice? Canned on 7/7 with "LATER TATER..." written underneath it, this beer was easily worth the hype and had the hops, juice, and body that put the three brewers who collaborated on it on the proverbial map. If you're a fan of *any* of those three, get this beer. You won't be disappointed!

Pours a hazy light golden/yellow color with a white head and streaking lacing. Smell is fruity & tropical, with slight malt and lemon juice. Taste is fruity with grapefruit orange and lemon its more citrus in taste vs nose tropical hops are here like papaya and mango but citrus rules. Soft mouth feel with some ABV heat but still so drinkable with a dry finish. Had 3 of the taters liked the twice baked the best, this one is still boss thou.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch off white head over a hazy golden body with nice lacing. Nose of pineapple, other tropical fruit, some candied fruit, and dank citrus pith. Tastes of the same with a medium bitterness. Feel is low carb and hampered by those pesky particulates but not horribly so. Overall, I'm feelin' it. Cheers!

A: Pours a hazy peach juice consistency, with minimal sticky lacing and bubbles only visible at the edges after a gentle pour.

S: Aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, light melon and apricot

T: Absolutely fully flavored tropical mixture of pineapple and ripe ruby red grapefruit mild grass in the back. There is honeydew flavors in the background along with strong peach and lemon rind right up front. Peach and mango puree after you have gotten over the smattering of fruit smashing your tastebuds. There are the signature Other Half flavors along with the addition of Monkish bite and Trillium grass. Definitely hoping they do this collab again.

M: Thick and mildly carbonated. Viscous juice with no pulp

O: Overall , very pumped to have this thanks to Jeff for hooking me up! Its a sipper, not to be put down quickly for sure so you can see how it changes as it warms a bit. Well done!

Trying to get caught up on ratings. Thought this was very meh. Seemed overhyped and just didn't deliver what I was expecting considering the breweries that collab'd on this.

Oh, man - this is every bit as good as expected - opaquely hazy gold body, few fingers of head and lots of lace... Aromas full of tropical and citric fruit suggestions... On the sip, plenty of lush fruit plus a bit of pine around the edges... Plush feel, moderate bitterness and sweetness... Triple dry hopped, featuring Mosaic, Galaxy, Denali, and Kohatu hops, and oat and wheat malts... 7/7/17 canning...
