3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a milky dark yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. No floaters.
S: Ripe lemon, orange and pineapple. White grapes and strawberries. Herbal and bubblegummy.
T: Strawberries and sweet citrus fruits paired with ripe grapes and pineapple. Medium high sweetness followed by a minimally bitter finish.
F: Full, smooth and creamy. Medium low carbonation.
O: Great showcase of the hop variety as well as the brewery’s style. Exactly what one would expect from an OH single hop Citra DIPA. Bursting with flavor and full bodied yet nicely drinkable. Perfectly crafted from start to finish.

Poured at fridge temp into a weizen glass.
Pours a pretty and opaque almost cloudy pineapple/juicy color with a dense and soft eggshell colored head. Also leaves behind a loose lacing.4.5
Aroma is very soft and delicate, but consists of some hoppy, earthy herbal-ness and oat grain notes with a touch of sweetness. 4.25
Taste follows aroma, being subtle, soft and delicate again. Some light lychee sweetness, gentle tropical citra, and clear oat & milk sweetness I adore. Not terribly complex, but really really good. 4.25
Wicked smooth with a touch of sharp carbo but mostly soft and smooth, slight dry finish, really a perfect body. 4.5
Overall I really want to see oats/oat cream in more things, because I think it made this beer next level. Excellently delicious and memorable. 4.5

Well, I broke my promise to myself with this one that I would finish my first months Tavour box before moving onto the second, but I wanted to break into this one while it was still somewhat fresh. It's also been quite some time since I've had anything from Other Half, so I'm glad to finally get more of their stuff. Let's get into it
Pours a hazy yellow gold with 3 fingers of creamy off white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose is fruity and sweet, but still remains incredibly balanced overall. I'm picking up on aromas of mango sorbet, orange zest, papaya, doughy malt, grassy hops, jammy apricot, peach, light white pepper, and pineapple juice
It unfortunately trends even sweeter in taste losing a bit of its edge, but it is still quite good. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting peach rings, papaya, pineapple juice, doughy malt, orange marmalade, wildflower honey, light apricot, and raw oat. The swallow brings notes of papaya, orange zest, pineapple juice, lemon custard, bready malt, peppery hops, peach rings, light vanilla, and apricot
A medium fully body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in as silky beer with a bit of a bite. Finishes mostly dry and refreshing
It probably would've been better fresher, but this is still awesome. That's just the downside of getting IPAs through Tavour I suppose

Brewery Notes: A hazy Imperial IPA brewed with milk sugar, oats and a single hop variety, Citra. Notes of candied lychee, orange and sweet tropical fruit. Smooth and dreamy. Blasted with Citra pellets and finished off with Citra Lupulin powder on a bed of pillowy oats. Double Dry Hopped Citra Daydream is an Oat Cream IPA. Part of our Dream/Daydream series, it's packed with Citra hops and Citra Lupulin powder, oats and a hint of lactose sugar to smooth it out.

Aroma is orange citrus , peach, apricot
Taste is orange citrus, apricot, peach

Soft, creamy, oat-y, pillowy. Very heavy citrus up front with a nice oat backbone. Just smooth all the way through - limited bitterness. One of the best I've had from OH.

A - Opaque light medium golden orange with thin white lacing that's dense.
S - Apricot, peach, passion fruit, and light oat malt aroma. Overall aroma is light to moderate.
T - Big on the flavor with juicy peach, apricot, passion fruit, and tropical fruit and ends on the sweeter side with low bitterness factor.
M - Big pillowy soft body that's chewy, the hops coat the mouth and leaves a fabric-like sensation on the sides of the mouth.
O - A pretty fantastic beer, not a (99) score but pretty darn good!

I'm with the BA crew on this one, 99!
a) puffy, fluffy meringue head over lemony pale clouded body, hence "Citra Daydream".
s) Lemon, pineapple, with a custardy feel to aroma.
t) Lemon pie. Sweet, bold slightly crunch crust. Pineapple, creamy meringue.
f) As it tastes, all clouds and meringue lemon custard pie, smooth on the palate.
o) Once in a lifetime lemony IPA. Wow!

5/14/22 Canned 4/18/22 DC. Soft, creamy, pillowy. Citrus forward with strong wheat, oats influence. No pine or bitterness at all. High quality but not a fav for reasons of style.
