The color is the lightest straw-yellow I've ever run across, yet it still manages to be opaque. Maybe I can get a little bit of silhouette behind the glass. Good amount of very fine white head, although it doesn't leave much lacing.

Smell has onions and lemon rinds, and not much else. Slightly vegetative.

The taste would complement onion rings nicely. Maybe add some of that Thousand Island dressing. The citrus is so light, it's more like sweet kumquats. Plenty of grass and hay. At least the bitterness isn't too bad. Distinct taste, if not powerful. It does have a gentle sweetness.

Lots of fine carbonation. A bit prickly with a swish, though. That sweetness I mentioned is most of the aftertaste. It's almost like a Cream of Wheat. Alcohol is slightly detectable. Weight is medium for the type.

16 oz can dated 3/6/2023. Not even 3 weeks old.

Hops: Citra

Super hazy, super fruity, super smooth and chewy NE IPA. They nailed this one. A great showcase for the Citra hop.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little thin lacing.

S: Big ripe tropical and stone fruit jumps out of the glass, zesty citrus, slightly resinous grassy notes, crackery biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Tropical and stone fruit, nectarine, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, guava, and passion fruit, some zesty citrus, tangerine, lemon, and lime, a bit grassy and resinous, crackery slightly biscuity malt, and light caramel sweetness.

M: On the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Drinks more like a NE Pale Ale. They make the Citra shine without the hop burn that I've experienced in some of their other DDH beers before, but you can tell it's on the lighter side. I was expecting all the oats and lactose to cover that up a bit more. Overall, very nicely balanced easy drinking Citra showcase. Really hoping its big brother finds its way out west so I can try it now.

Pours ultra hazy, pale gold in color withone quarter inch head. Taste is big herbal hops with light citrus. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly bitter. I can totally feel the hop oil. Nice beer. I have had better but nice.

6 weeks old. Can to wine glass.

L: Pours a hazy and milky light yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves thick rings of lacing. No floaters.

S: Candied citrus fruits with hints of fresh tropical fruits and ripe strawberries.

T: Orange, tangerine and a bit of grapefruit. Fresh mango and strawberries are there, too. Medium sweet and slightly bitter.

F: Full and juicy. Minimally zesty. Medium carbonation. Soft and drinkable.

O: Of course I prefer the higher ABV versions (who doesn’t?), but considering this one‘s only a single IPA, it is still quite complex and flavorful. All in all it feels like a little sibling of Double and Triple Citra Daydream - just like it should. Overall a very good beer.

From a 16oz can dated 07/20/2022. Excellent NEIPA. Nice nose of tropical fruit, and both sweetness and tartness on the palate. Good dank notes, too. Lactose is very subtle (too often overdone by other brewers.
