Appearance: Arrives cloudy and orange colored with a nice head that leaves strands of lacing behind

Smell: Pineapple, clementine orange and mango

Taste: Pineapple and mango forward with the clementine orange flavors building through the middle; low to moderate bitterness through the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A nice juicy NEIPA with a good fruit flavor profile

Pours an orangish yellow, slight white foamy head. When held up to the light, it looks like a glass of milky orange juice. Great citrus aroma. Flavor is sweet and milky, loads of citrus and tropical fruit: orange, lemon, pineapple, mango. Has a nice creamy mouthfeel. Overall a fun beer, I am getting a little tired of the “lactose” ipa’s, but this one has a nice balance of sweetness and hoppy bitterness.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a super murky but pleasing-to-look-at golden orange color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.

This smells super dank, pithy, and juicy- all of the adjectives I want to hear about when diving into something heavily hopped with Galaxy.

There's lots of passionfruit, mango, tangerine, and grapefruit here, with a pithy and dry bitterness on the back end. It's awesome how creamy this one starts out as, but then manages to finish really dry and clean.

This is medium bodied, creamy, and surprisingly rich, with a typical level of carbonation. It's super drinkable for the elevated ABV.

I've loved basically every beer OH has done in the dream series so far.

DDH Space Daydream - Other Half
IIPA - 8.5% abv
Canned 7/18/18 (18 days ago)

L - 1.5 finger offwhite, low density head atop a completely opaque, milky orange body.

S - grapefruit pith, herb, cotton candy. Rather mild.

T - bitter grapefruit pith and rind with a dollop of dank sauce. Slightly dirty middle, with bread, sour lime candy, oats and lactose in the background. Moderate bitterness. Low sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body with below-average carb.

O - many of the “Dream” beers are too sweet for my tastes, but this one is perfectly balanced and a pleasure to imbibe.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a conical pint glass; canned on 07/18/2018 (code: MIDWEEKH05) and purchased at the brewery that weekend.
A: Pours a very hazy color, midway between amber and golden with a less than one quarter inch head, little retention and modest lacing.
S: Aromas of tangerine turning into lime over time, mango and pineapple up front, and caramel malt throughout. A little pine and resin withal.
T: Semisweet to semidry. The flavor palate doesn't really follow the nose in this case and is largely bread and caramel with a little bit of fruit (?lime) in the background. Mild bitterness throughout with a fairly clean, refreshing finish.
M: Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and even juicy in the mouth.
O: A very mild, drinkable and enjoyable example of the NEIPA style. Probably just right for introducing the uninitiated to the style.
