My 2nd beer at Dive 106, NYC. Enjoying as I watch Croatia and Denmark go into extra time at the WC round of 16.
Pours a very murky, beige straw, almost brown lime color. A thumbnail head shows average retention and yields lacing. A milkshake looking NEIPA all the way.
Aromas of tropical fruit and citrusy hops hint at juicy flavors. The malt aroma suggests honey, nuts and oats.
At first the taste has a clean malt taste, somewhat neutral with neither sweetness nor bitterness. However, soon enough, juicy flavors of pineapple, melon, grapefruit and tangerine burst through. The oats also shine; they offer a fullness of taste. A semi intense citrus sting, light pine, and mild bitterness fill both the middle palate and finish.
Medium bodied with a full and chewy malt texture. Frothy, creamy, juicy and gently carbonated.
A NEIPA through and through. Easy to drink and a good example of the style.

Poured from a 32oz crowler into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is an extremely hazy pale yellow with a frothy bubbly white head.

Aroma tastes like the name very green and delicious like an unripe orange or tangerine.

Tastes excellent.

On-tap at St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe in Brooklyn, NY

Pours a densely hazy and glossy orange with a pillowy finger and a half cap.

Aroma strikes off the bat with smooth notes of oats, almost creamy but never becoming too sweet, and raw hops and pine before moving to dank citrus; sweet peach, mango, and a bit of orange zest.

Taste is both citrusy, herbal, and creamy in one of the more balanced ways I've encountered; the way it meshes so nicely in the profile really has my attention. Peach, mango, delicate pine and earthy notes, and some pineapple brightness in there as well.

Mouthfeel is so smooth and juicy. The balance carries over appropriately and the result is effortlessly, pillowy soft on the palate.

My first offering from Other Half does not disappoint whatsoever. They balance this beer's strongest elements and make something imminently sessionable and easy on the palate. I had hesitations of an IPA too "creamy" for my tastes, but this one did everything to assuage that and then some.

On tap in 12oz snifter.

Pale straw color, cloudy, but not as thick as others in the style. The 1f white froth retained and left sweeping lacing.

Very hoppy. Lots of pineapple and other tropical fruit with a touch of citrus.

More pineapple over a light malt base. A touch of lemon.

Well carbonated, chewy medium body. Feels like rind is there. Easy and refreshing.

The oats beef it up a bit but it has a pale ale - like quality, just right.
