Pours extremely dark with a perfect mocha head that lasts forever. Massive chocolate aroma with some cinnamon undertones. Flavor is gobs of chocolate and fudge, notes of vanilla and light coffee, and I get the cinnamon in the middle. Sweet but manageable. Surprisingly short finish. Appropriate low carbonation, creamy texture. ABv is well hidden, slightly boozy. Overall a great dessert stout, loved it.

Delicious.

The ABV on the one I drank is 13.2%, and they have done a wonderful job keeping the boozy taste in the background. Pick up chocolate right away and notes of the other flavors, very smooth and tasty.

Hope they brew it again.

Getting mostly cacao on the nose, combined with vanilla, resulting in something like sweet, milk chocolate. Cinnamon is there in the background, but only faintly. Flavor is more coffee forward, with good, bitter cacao notes, and a little cinnamon spice at the end. Has nice, smooth, thick body, just how I like my stouts. All the flavors work together well here, and the result is delicious.

Pours black with cacao, and vanilla. Solid beer, not as good as some of the other I had from this brewery. Tastes a lot like coffee, with some cinnamon overtones.

While the cocoa nibs feature heavily on the nose, it's the combination of perceived sweetness from the vanilla and inherent fruitiness of the coffee that really grounds the flavor. As good as the best cold brew coffees around (spiked with mildly nutty almond milk). But the shake of cinnamon is the real coup d'etat because it lends a unique dryness that other OH stouts tend to lack.

Picked this up a while ago at Other Half, finally getting around to it tonight. While not as spicy or nuanced as the list of ingredients would indicate, there was more than enough going on here for me to enjoy. Full of chocolate, powder, and booze, this beer was true to form while not knocking me out at the same time!

Lovely pour to this as the liquid was silky and smooth with a ton of mocha head topping it off. The lacing left behind was quite extensive and covered a majority of the glass, down to the bottom. Lots of cacoa nibs, milk chocolate, and booze in the muted nose as the taste was much more enjoyable than the aroma. Raspberry juice, brandy sweetness, rich vanilla, and a light powder combined to make this very enjoyable and slick with being overly strong or boozy. A trace of cinnamon spice and nuts could be felt as this fully warmed up and in the aftertaste, as an underlying creaminess tied everything in together.

Sure, this was strong but the flavors were enough to compensate for the amount of alcohol in this. White not a pure Chocolate Stout, this had enough features of one while being more full, rich, and inviting. Loved this beer and it's recessed sweetness, as it didn't feel that were any gimmicks behind it. This was yet another Stout that proves how well Other Half is doing at the moment!
