L- opaque OJ

S- sweet tropical fruit

T- follows the nose, sweet orange, mango, pineapple, guava, kiwi. Fantastic

F- medium soft, obviously due to the oat cream

O- a delightfully tropical imperial IPA, will definitely purchase again

If there was ever a beer that combined hops into an all-star collaboration, this might be it. Sure, these aren't necessarily the three best but in terms of a Daydream collaboration that's easygoing on the senses, this might have taken the cake. Canned on 12/28/18, the end result of this beer was something that was enjoyably sweet and juicy but just a step or two away from standing out among it's stylistic peers...

Not surprisingly, the appearance of this beer was a muddle peach and apricot with more light coming through on top than at the bottom. The head was not that extensive as the lacing was wavy and layered near the top and sparse below that down the side of my pint glass. Lots of soft tangerine, cream, sherbet, wet grass, and lactose in the pillowy soft nose as the taste followed suit. Creamy lactose, candied sugar, and sweet, tropical fruit entered the fray as I sipped this with this being wonderfully complex, cloying, and full without being overly boozy or heavy. Some muddled hop dankness lingered in the back half and aftertaste but overall, this was a beer that needed the sugary and sticky aspects toned down just a few notches.

Plenty of booze in this one although it was readily detectable, it didn't distract from everything else that was going on. Like sugarcoated, dried candy that I had as a kid, this was enjoyable but left me feeling just a bit empty after it was gone. More juice and body relative to the sugar would have easily made this an all-time great!

Canned 10/16/19, pours like a glass guava juice with a solid 2 finger thick foamy eggshell colored head that was packed with tiny bubbles, dissipating very slowly and leaving outstanding foamy lace rings that cling to the glass and linger. Smells of fresh hops, dank and full of citrus notes and tropical fruits like pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, faint apricot, graham crackers, fruity candy like Razzles, papaya and a mix of fruit. Really great smelling and the flavor very much resembles the nose, but with the additions of orange juice, honey, hints of peach and/or pear, and then some mild piney notes that almost seem like peppery spices. Zero signs of the 10.5% ABV, this is ridiculously easy to drink.

Pours an opaque yellow with a finger of off white head that settled fairly quickly.
Digging deep I get some grapefruit and orangs. Lots of sweetness and a bit of alchohol on the nose.
Taste follows, hops are a bit hidden by the sweet cream, some grapefruit and orange linger but so does the alchohol.
Full bodied, low carbonation.
Overall I was hoping for more hoppiness but it's more sweet cream and a bit boozy.

A supremely hazy grapefruit color with a white head, there are orange and grapefruit aromas on the nose, plus an earthy component that has me curious.

The orange and grapefruit flavors are outstanding, and there’s a significant sweet cream flavor (maybe that was the “earthy” I got on the nose) and a boozy note as well.

This is really good, but a bit too sweet, IMHO. If the citrus flavors were more pronounced, this would be world-class.

Appearance: After the bubbleshow, the head settles in at two fingers capping the cloudy honey colored liquid; excellent retention and splashy lacing

Smell: Sweetened pineapple juice, Juicy Fruit and a subtle dank tone

Taste: Juicy Fruit gum and sweetened pineapple juice forward with just a hint of dankness; limited bitterness, in the middle, but just a touch of Clementine orange, after the swallow; a rather sweet finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body; creamy with moderate carbonation

Overall: A true juice bomb that is just a smidge too sweet to be in the top echelon
