Notes:
Our goal with this beer was to make a great Imperial Stout with minimal adjuncts. To do that, we took all our knowledge of Imperial Stouts and funneled it into this beer. This version is crushed with Madagascar Vanilla beans.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with some strong vanilla notes is quite rich. Taste is also a mix of sweet chocolate notes with some deep vanilla notes and plenty of residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Strong and intense pastry stout that is better shared.
