Had this on tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill in Burlington VT. once again, awesome to see top beers from maine showing up around here!! this beer is a freak show in terms of packing zesty tropical hoppyness into a beer that is well under 3% abv. just ridiculous!

Pale creamy pastel opaque yellow body. Soft foamy head that quickly dies to a thin film with a thick, foamy, clingy collar.

The first whiff brought me back to my first batch of Konkey Dong in early 2016, but this is much more subtle and restrained. Pineapple upside down cake. Orange Julius. A little vanilla shortbread. But again, all in moderation, not too big or punchy.

Taste is buttermilk biscuit topped with vanilla bean orange-lemon marmalade. No joke.

Tangy and substantial but light and crisp, yet really frothy. A joy to drink.

Boy oh boy the amount of flavor packed into this super session is quite impressive. Cerealy malt holds it down just enough to let the hops shine without overpowering. Could drink this all day, every day.

[Edit 1/25/18 - finally(!) got some in can and this is just as good as I remember. I double down on my rating and review. This is what I call a "unicorn beer" because it is an impossibly rich and flavorful taste and feel for an impossibly low ABV. Some may not like it for a somewhat absent and watery backbone, but that comes with the territory for a very low alcohol beer. It makes up for it with the dense very soft feel. You *will not* find a more flavorful, dense mouthfeel beer in this category though.]

Had in tap at brewery.

Pours an opaque medium yellow gold color with a 2 finger near-white head that laces very well for a low malt beer.

Aroma is distinctively stone fruit with nectarine notes dominating over a tart citrus scent in the background. The smell is a little green-hopped being so close to the source.

The flavor is a little more muted with stone fruit notes jumping out... this is a session, right? Nice change from tropical hops too. Malt is light as expected, so this is a hop beer, period and it needs no apologies as it rules over most.

Feel is smooth and creamy. Moderate seltzer. Low bitterness

Another great beer from Bissell. As a session ale this is gonzo good. Not many session NEIPAs out there. Wow. Easily the best session ale out there. Why in the world is it rated so low?

On tap at Farmhouse Tap and Grill. This was poured into a long stemmed taster. The appearance was a burnt yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. The aroma starts off with some sweet citrus pulp, then rind, Light onion dankiness. The flavor had the same aromatics rolling in for a nice blend. Semi-sweet dry aftertaste with a nice semi-sweet to bitter finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Overall, really nice session IPA that I would love to have again.
