16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $6.25. Canned on 12-19-23, so this is exactly two months old.
Look: It's got a bit darker than Orangina / butternut squash soup kind of look to it. There was about two fingers of a frothy off-white head that gradually subsided. It definitely looks the part of a NEIPA.
Smell: Lots of citrus and stone fruit coming through on the nose - orange, grapefruit, mango, peach, and cantaloupe. There's also a bit of green notes (green bell pepper). I get a bit of menthol on the finish.
Taste: This is pretty tasty. It has a significant amount of bittering, which many NEIPAs do not have so for me this is a welcome characteristic that gives this beer balance. The beer has a very strong orange peel and grapefruit pith flavor.
The finish is dry and woody, somewhat peppery as well. The beer's finish lingers long. After pouring the rest of the can, I think that the flavor improved a bit. It gained a lot of interesting dank flavors and the flavor profile became more complex and rounded. Chalky, vitamin notes also.
Feel: It has a relatively creamy mouthfeel, decently carbonated. The body also improved after pouring the rest of the can - it has a very pillowy, creamy mouthfeel with very soft carbonation.
Overall: It's interesting. However, I am not enjoying it that much. For me, it seems to lack a hook that makes me want to keep drinking it and find enjoyment in it. I hate to say it, but it's a bit boring. I was intrigued to try it as this beer is one of the more-hyped NEIPAs out there; however, I am somewhat unimpressed (I think that I prefer Substance to this). It did improve after I poured the bottom of the can, but it's still just not that exciting to me. Overall, this is a NEIPA that is on the border of Imperial IPA territory in terms of ABV, and it does fit into the NEIPA category better. I think that it's a good example of the style and people should seek out beers like this and Heady Topper / Focal Banger than most of the new school hazy IPAs out on the market.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Bradford's in Plymouth for about twenty two dollars. My sixth brew from these guys. Canned on date of 10/17/23. Very unique hop profile...Very expensive....

Classic hazy ipa. Lots of citrus notes, however a little more bitter than I usually enjoy. Easy drinking and wonderful on a sunny spring evening like tonight.

Wow! So glad I picked this from the E 38 St bodega IPA shelf. Amazing. On way to ferry. .
a) Amazing head, 2 finger, sustaining, meringue head, that lasts and laces, over a golden orange amber body.'
s) Sports fresh citrus, orange, grapefruit, mango. With some pine sap notes.
t) Adds tangerine and long pine resin along with onion, chives, grass.
f) medium, cottony like the head, varied.
o) Eye opener! Try 24.
