Very good Imperial IPA!!! Another candidate for an Imperial NEIPA style category. Poured from a 16 0z. can into a pint glass, this beer features a very hazy straw yellow color with a medium size foamy white head. Head retention is very good and there is light foamy lacing on the glass. The aroma hits you right as the can is opened - not as pronounced as Heady Topper but still quite noticeable. The aroma and taste are heavy on pineapple and grapefruit with better than moderate bitterness. The beer seems rich with a somewhat malty backbone too. There is a bit of the signature NE IPA dankness as well. Mouthfeel is rich, bitter and crisp with some balance between malt and hops. This is a great beer. I would love to have more of them!!!!

Look: opaque pale yellow with a thick finegrained white head
Smell: strong stone fruit x pineapple
Taste: oh my, starts you in with a big hit of candied pineapple then takes you on a trip that ends up in pithiness and pine
Feel: just right for an NEIPA
Overall: It took a few sips to dial it in but overall it's even better than I expected.

Pours a nearly turbid pineapple color with a substantial oatmeal colored head that laces the glass very nicely. Jarringly exotic citrus notes on the nose, especially passion fruit, and a nice grapefruit rind aroma, along with a bit of pineapple and mango.
The taste edges to the danker side, with the grapefruit more prominent, balanced with the pineapple, mango, and the passion fruit at the back of the palate. I’m also getting the spelt malt influence with the sweetness and earthy flavors. Truly delicious stuff.
The mouthfeel is full, edging toward creamy. Really well done by a world class brewery.

L - massive eruption of foam on can crack. Pours a thick, hazy, solid brick of yellow haze with milky opaqueness around the edges. As expected, there's a sizeable head on this bad boi, but it dissipates surprisingly quickly, considering everything about this beer wants to escape the can.
S - biggest aroma I've smelt in some time. Even at arm's reach, I'm getting resiny hop syrup and candied papaya. Grapefruit mango amalgamation with a touch of white grape. Pineapple creamsicle. Overarching oniony zest.
T - the zest is unreal. Pithy grapefruit, spicy rind, and peppery bitterness. Pointed in all directions, this one is bold and pungent. Herbal tanginess, yet chock full of ripe fruit flavors a la apricot, papaya, and a touch of green peach. Syrupy sweetness reveals the almost-8% ABV. Finishes with a touch of tartness and medium dryness with hints of flowers and grass. Begs another sip.
F - smooth and creamy. Saw this one coming from a mile away based on what it looked like. That dense, frothy head never disappoints.
O - heaping helping of hops. Far from a "juice bomb", this one packs a serious hoppy wallop. Bitter and balanced; hits hard with west coast vibes yet as decadent as NEIPAs come.
