Notes:
Juicy, Hoppy, Fruity. A medium-bodied, aromatic, dry-hopped pale ale. Not quite an India pale ale, nor a typical American pale ale, we brew Raised by Wolves to highlight the rich flavors and aromas of hops rather than their bitterness. This beer has aromas reminiscent of lush tropical, citrus and stone fruits with a juicy body that you can sink your teeth into.

Nice and dry. There is a fruity smell, but I don’t feel that fruitiness quite so much in the flavor. It’s light and refreshing with a bit of a mouth taste that lingers.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours dark orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of floral and citrus hops. Tastes of citrus hops with sweet grain backbone. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking. Overall, a very good beer.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, grapefruit stands out. Taste is well balanced citrus and malts, refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Draft at R.F.D. Mellower East Coast IPA. Aroma leans towards the maltier side. Like with my recent UK trip, some palate adjustment is required. Smooth and hoppy, but allowing the he malts to showcase as well. This will not crush you palate, like out west.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high frothy bright white head that died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of caramel malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with flavors of caramel malts and finishes with notes of citrusy and piney hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. Little, if any crispness is perceptible.
O: I found this to be a very malt-forward IPA as the hops took a back seat in the taste of this beer.
Serving type: can

12oz can into a Teku glass
Look: Pours a fairly opaque orange-amber. A rocky, one-finger off white head recedes into a very thin cap, leaving lots of fine lacing down the rim of the glass. (Note: While I think this beer looks great, it loses a few points here as it looks like an IPA not a Pale Ale.)
Smell: Tons of floral, grassy hops alongside bright tropical fruit and citrus as well as a little peach.
Taste: Follows the nose exactly. A bright herbal, grassy pine. Grapefruit, orange, lime, peach, papaya, and light mango and pineapple. A nice earthy, dry finish.
Feel: On the thin side of medium body. Fairly low carbonation and very fine bubbles.
Overall: A very awesome DH Pale Ale, if not quite in style. Endlessly aromatic and bursting with flavor. On it's way to becoming a DC staple, if it isn't already.

It was maybe a bit thin, but it is an APA not an IPA, so I think it was right on
Look: cloudy dark golden with a finger thick white head
Aroma: grapefruit, orange
Taste: It's crackers, grapefruit and orange and maybe a hint of pine at the end.
Body/Overall: It is a bit thin but crisp and very drinkable.

Canned 8-22-18
L: Pours copper colored, with off-white head. Nice lacing.
S: Very aromatic ..pine, citrus and light fruit.
T: Malty up front, some pine and fruit flavors. Hops come in late, and are presented well.
F: Mid to medium. Mildly carbonated for a PA. Light bitterness, that hangs on.
O: Nicely done. It's not on the upper tier of APA's, but it's still solid. 5% ABV is a plus.

Had on tap at National Park. I've mostly had Right Proper sour/wild/fruited beers before so this is a change of pace. It's a solid pale ale with grapefruit and pine flavors with a decent malt backbone. Nothing memorable but if you want a pale ale this will do the job.
