This beer greets you with floral and citrus aromas, the result of aggressive Cascade dry-hopping. The addition of Chinook hops leave you with a lingering pineyness reminiscent of a hike in the mountains. A light malt sweetness provides balance while maintaining the hop forward character.

Purchased in a 12 pack variety
LOOK: Pours a very clean, bright Pale straw to light gold color, with a white head that has average retention. Recedes to a thin skin with minimal side glass lace.
AROMA: Piney acerbic and floral hops. Some citrus hints.
TASTE: Fairly mild IPA, not one for the hard core hop head, however this hop intensity fits my palate just fine.
Overall, a nice solid easy to enjoy IPA>

it's August 2016 and this beer kicks ass.
Flavor and appearance of a ROWDY imperial IPA. Drinkability, feel, of a flawlessly calibrated single IPA. They've nailed this one folks. Filter less, up the hops and fruit, and you're getting 5's across the board on this.
Go Stoup

I had this on-tap in a taster glass at the brewery.
Appearance: light golden hue with a touch of haze and a thin layer of white foam. Pretty standard IPA, if perhaps a little bit light.
Smell: somewhat thin aroma with a piney, resiny hop character. Not really special.
Taste: moderately sweet base with some raspy hops atop. Hop character is a bit herbal, earthy and resiny; bitterness is somewhat low for an IPA, but well-enough balanced. I can't escape the sensation that there's a little bit of a homebrew quality going on here.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a great carbonation and a rich creaminess, especially for the style. The Stoup folks really have mouthfeel worked out.
Overall: I think everything I have to say about this beer is really summed up in the taste notes: not terrible, but a little homebrew-ey.
