a very very light beer. not sure if this is proprietary for big bills, or if this is another of their beers simply under a different name. it pours a super light watered down yellow color with a robust white head, but it doesn't last at all. the nose is rather generic on the malt front, light white wheat and pils malts, but there is a hint of Belgian yeast in there giving this a nice floral complexion and a touch of summer. the flavor is identical to the nose, with the yeast being by far and away the most interesting feature of this otherwise mundane brew. the lightness is a blessing and a curse. it stays sessionable with heavy pizza and wings type food, but as a standalone, its very unsatisfying. not even sure its big enough to be a palate cleanser, but is mighty drinkable. the carbonation is excellent however, which really helps. overall a cool idea to have a beer for this place, but the beer itself is nothing to really right home about. I do applaud both big bills and rockyard for not simply doing a generic golden ale, the yeast makes this better than average.

Served on-draught into a 16 oz pilsner glass in high altitude Colorado, at Big Bill's Pizza. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a half finger head of no cream, bad thickness, and terrible retention. Colour is a clear yellow.

Sm: Light barley. That's it.

T: Barley forms the foundation with cream atop accompanied by light crystal malt. It's a bit bland but nevertheless enjoyable and refreshing. The balance lacks flavour but what little is present is balanced. Unimpressive.

Mf: Smooth and wet, with some tingly fizz up front from the crystal malt.

Dr: Very drinkable, the beer's strong suit. Decent quality. Limited by its boring simplicity and relative blandness.
