Had this on 2016-11-12 and again on 2017-11-22 at the brewery on-tap.
Flavor is improved from 2016 with more piney bitterness, a touch more maple and I'm not getting the tannin flavor anymore. Raised my taste and overall ratings accordingly.
Original review from 2016-11-12 follows. Overall rating was 3.75
A - Clear amber with a 1-finger light tan head and good lace.
S - Pine, citrus and a touch of caramel. Nice but not very-strong aroma.
T - Pine/bitter forward then some sweet malt with a very light dollop of maple. Then some citrus and earthy spice. I liked the flavors more at serving temperature. I was engaged in conversation and ended up nursing this beer for about 45 minutes. As it warmed, there was some tannin flavor that clashed with the other flavors I tasted originally.
M - Medium body and light carbonation. Pretty smooth.
O - Could use more aroma. The maple flavor wasn't very evident and the creeping tannin flavor as it warmed wasn't my cup of tea.
