Craft Beer Cellars are great and this location is one of the best of them. Really great chilled selection of New England beers and IPAs, and large well organized selection of national and international beers from well sought after brewers. Highly recommended!

Great selection, friendly staff. These franchisees really care about and are passionate about beer and it shows. I honestly haven't been in a long time, but there was always stuff that you can't find anywhere else.

Pretty big with a good selection of cans and bottles. Really cool that they let you grab singles and mix your own pack. Nice service. Worth a stop if in the area for sure.

Even while requiring masks, the staff is really helpful and will happily guide you to certain beers and styles while knowledgably recommending anything similar to that which you're looking for.
They're clearly very passionate about beer, curating a very special collection from across the world, while obviously focusing heavily on local wares.

Easy to get to off the highway. It's a fairly small space that is jam packed with beers. They let you pull any beer from a six pack or 4 pack. Due to social distancing/quarantine they were not filling growlers. The staff was very helpful and great at answering my questions. Great store!

Visited after the ritual home to Ben & Jerry's just a bit away. Nice vibe, outstanding selection and helpful staff. Selection was focused on Vermont beers, but still managed to include a really nice selection of out of state and out of country beers and also ciders. I will return!

Stopped in here in 24FEB18 with Alewife, after dining at the Prohibition Pig...
Front has 2 big glass windows with steps leading to a central door... in and a cooler to the left, plus a small maze of shelves... they were stacked with a healthy load of biers from near and far... lots of rarities, including about 15 bottles of Founders KBS... I had a very hard time figuring out what to get... Had a few people swing by asking if I needed any help.... Had a typical, laid-back Vermont vibe... nicely laid-out store, with growler fills and glassware as an added bonus... prices were pretty decent, all-in-all, from what I could tell... Will def stop in again next time I'm in Waterbury.... Prosit!!!

As a Vermonter that lives further west of here and ends up having to travel all around the great state of Vermont, this is one our best stores. It's cleanliness and willingness from their manager to market some high end beers from mostly Vermont but Oregon, California, Michigan and Massachusetts, well, this craft beer store is practically in a league of it's own from most of the rest of Vermont. Not a Vermont Liquor store, and they have a spectacular looking growler section and in the back, they have glassware to appeal to practically anyone. Rare Lawson's bottles show up on Thursdays after Lawson's put them in the Warren store. Check Lawson's website to see when they release certain bottles because it's not every week Lawson's releases bottles.

Passing through Waterbury so I thought to check it out. Pretty good selection and easy to look through the options. Found some things I had not seen before and looked interesting - excited to try them. Staff was helpful on a quit Monday evening to answer questions. Only question I had, was formed upon walking out and seeing the price tag on some VT beer in the coolers. Since I live in VT and had just purchased the same beer six pack for $2 less at a random gas station mini mart the day before, it mad me wonder how much mark up I had just endured on these other beers.

My first impression was, "Lucy, I'm home!" Really well done store with great display shelving and room to move around looking at beers. Some great drafts for growler fills and some great info on local Vt. Craft beers from the staff.

Right across the street from the Prohibition Pig, from outside this place doesn't look as if it's going to be much of a beer outlet. However, once you walk inside, it's hard not to be impressed by what you see. There is a huge selection of craft beer and imports, with stack upon stacks on local brewery 4 packs piled seemingly everywhere. They also have a growler filling area, with 6 to 8 different choices, which this day included the Alesmith Speedway Mokalida (WTF!!!). There are several cold boxes in the store, and so there's a considerable amount of beer chilled here. Also saw a fair size selection of glassware for sale.
Perhaps because this store was located in such a small town, the quality of this store was all the more surprising and impressive. The only downside, if you want to call it that, is that the service is nothing to write home about. The staff leave you to peruse the selection, but are happy to answer any questions you might have ("Do you guys have any Heady Topper, Focal Banger or Sip of Sunshine cans." Response: "Nope. Just the Lawson Super session." ).
In any event, I was quite impressed by this store, and will certainly revisit any time we happen to be back in town.

I can see how on a good day this place would have a solid selection as its the crossroads of Beer, Vermont. I just went on a sunday and well, that's not the best day. Very clean. Tons of glassware if that's your thing as well.

BA says this place is world class for a store, and yea it pretty much is. The selection is carefully thought out to maximize floor place, tons of goodies if you know what to look for. None of the bottles seemed old and there was a vast array of local, domestic, and international choices.
I had 2 employees kindly ask if I needed any help, which is unusual for a beer store, but was appreciated. Everyone seemed friendly.
Walked away with some Oatmeal Yeti (since we can't get Great Divide in CT) along with The Brettanomyces Incident from Burlington Beer. The Sip of Sunshine cozies that fit 16oz cans at the register sealed the deal! Will go back again in a heartbeat.

This is a craft beer cellar in one of the biggest beer travel towns in the country. Not much explaining necessary. They get the popular locals like Heady Topper and Sip of Sunshine and post the availability. Keep a well rotated selection of national craft beers and have a decent tap list available for growler fills. The location is great, the building I a cool old brick building. Big front windows, ample cooler space. They have some local food products and glassware from local breweries.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and the owner seems like a great guy.

I stopped by to see if I could pick up some good beers, their selection was underwhelming. Not a bad place to stop, but not impresed. They did have glassware from different breweries, t-shirts, hats, etc. which was nice.

Visited the evening of April 8.
V: Seemed good, if laid-back. It's a nice beer store with a lot of selection in a smallish space.
Q: Clean, lots of room, great and well-ordered cold and room temperature offerings.
Service: Good, gave me a good idea I would not have come up with. A little too laid-back, though.
Sel: Plenty of it in a small space.
Good place to stop in Waterbury.
