ire roasted pumpkins and 60# of honey have been barrel aging since October. Darker and higher in alcohol than most of our offerings, a good wild ale for the winter months.

2016 Bottle, drank October 2022. Cellared well. Nice squashy orangy color but didn't age well. No head, just a few bubbles, and way too over the top acidy. Plan Bee leans in this direction but this one was just too much for me.

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.

Pours a murky light yellow-orange with a foamy off-white head that fades to nothing. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, yeast, spice, honey, and slight squash aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour yeast, spice, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but the yeast used in this one dominates over all other aromas and flavors.

Serving type: bottle.

Didn't get much sweetness and most of the squash is gone. Bottle was a mild gusher at open. Beer was very pleasantly tart with a hint of squash on the finish--really good, but maybe declining? [Edit:While the tartness never subsided, the beer continued to improve as it warmed and developed some complexity--really tasty.]

Not your typical spiced Pumpkin beer by any means. A beautifully well done take on a squash beer with natural sweetness coming through. If you are not a Pumpkin beer lover like myself than this one will make you love Pumpkin beers just because it's nothing like a Pumpkin beer. Great job Evan.
