330 ml bottle into signature chalice, best before 2/22/2019. Pours lightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy peaches, fruit skin/pits, lemon, orange zest, pear, red apple, melon, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of almond, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, peaches, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of peaches, fruit skin/pits, lemon, orange zest, pear, red apple, melon, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of almond, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, and herbal/floral/grassy hop bitternesss on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy peaches, fruit skin/pits, lemon, orange zest, pear, red apple, melon, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, peaches, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and slightly tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.3%. Overall this is a very nice fruited saison. All around nice white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, peaches, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, fairly crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great classic saison yeast complexity with balanced peaches; nice pale/wheat malt backbone, minimal residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12oz bottle from Toby. Cloudy golden pour, small bubbly white head. Aroma is peaches with notes of acetone. More peaches in the taste, ripe stone fruit, sour, funk. Still had a bit of that nail polish edge.

Poured from 33 cL bottle into Spencer Trappist ale glass. Best by 05/14/23.
A: Pours a dark orange hue with some sediment and a nice 1 inch bubbly white head with excellent retention (very active carbonation jets continue to fuel it).
S: Loads of ripe peach and apricot with some farmhouse funk.
T: Very nice ripe peach and apricot with white pepper, light citrus, and farmhouse funk.
M: Light body. Fresh fleshy stone fruit feel. Slightly dry and lingers nicely on the palate.
D: A very nice example of style. The ripe peach is very well done.

Opaque dirty orange body with an eggshell white finger of foam. Big peach nose with saison yeast with a kiss of white pepper, not complex but reminds me of new glarus in how the fruit is allowed to star. Taste is even more peachy, yeast is solid with light floral hop finish. Medium bodied and smooth with slight ester. This is a perfect summer beer, going to miss Spencer, RIP. Again reminds me of a poor man's version of new glarus fruit beers. The wife liked it

Poured from 11.2oz bottle into Chimay goblet/

L - Hazy straw-colored pour. Off-white head thinning to a lace layer.

S - Slight tartness, stewed apricot, peach puree, sweet-tart powder (faint).

T - Dried grass, grains, crisp stone fruit, tangerine peel bitterness.

F - Sharp carbonation, dry mouthfeel.

A good Saison with a peach note.

Taking on styles of both classic ale and newer flavors, The Spencer Brewery isn't afraid to take on any type of beer. With one eye on the Farmhouse Saison and the other on the peach orchard, a new marriage in flavor is about to happen.

Pouring on the peachy-orange side of goldenrod, the foggy Peach Saison leads with a bold and branch ripe fruitiness that hinges on all-things-peach. With a peppery twinge to the nose and an underlying grain must, the scent soon gives way to a sweeter malt taste of biscuit, sourdough and wafer.

With its sweetness holding firm, the middle palate shows a dryness that permeates the fruitiness of peach. Approaching, but careful not to surpass sourness, the nearly tart ale highlights the estery compounds of lemon, apple, pear and grape. But the peach, and its apricot, mango and orange nuances all give the session a rounded fruitiness that steers away from the normal dry, bitter and spicy Saison style.

Fuller for the style, but still drinkable and refreshing overall, the beer's fruit influence makes it more of a fruit-forward ale rather than rooted in classic Saison. Finishing fruity and fresh, the taste leads to a malty-dry finish with a spicier vinous ede to close.

Wow - this is more of a peach beer than a saison lol - big fruit up front and throughout - hit or miss if you like peach, I suppose - I'm not a big peach guy, but appreciate the flavor and fruit - this is very good but not something I'd crave... Worth a buy and try for fans of fruited beer or if you just wanna help out monks from Massachusetts...

11.2 ounce bottle, best by 05/14/23 printed on the back label. Served in a Spencer chalice, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch or so off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells mostly like peaches (fresh and jammy/syrupy), along with some bready malt, pear and herbalness. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some apple, peppery spice, and wheat flavors. Started off with an herbal bite in the finish, but that eased up as the beer warmed up some. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's easy enough to drink but it's a little too highly carbonated for my liking. Worth a try if you like peach beers!

Ridiculously over carbonated for no reason. Feel is too bubbly. Smelled like vinegar, doesn't taste unbearable but this is straight up miss to me. Disappointed

Drinking this at home.
Poured from a bottle into a pint glass, a two minute pour gave a nice white foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap and no real lacing. Orange colored.
Smells peachy, lightly biscuity, Belgian yeast, farmhouse funky, but mostly peaches.
Taste follows the nose nicely, with the peaches and Belgian yeast upfront.
Mouth feel is medium for the style.
Overall a very nice Farmhouse Peach Ale-Saison that I would definitely drink again.
Cheers!
