I've been in here a few times at this point, and the beer has improved quite a bit since my last visit.

The vibe is decent, lighting is good and music is audible but by no means too loud. It's a large space that isn't always full, but when it gets busy the bar fills up quick, and you might have to sit in the side room. When it's slower the light is turned off in the side room making it a bit dark, especially in rainy weather. Good industrial vibe but also cozy enough to want to hang out in.

Quality is what is making me happy on this trip. I forgot exactly what the off flavor I was getting in all their ales, I recall something savory coming from the yeast it was odd, but it's gone now and red moon, which definitely had it before is much more clean and malty, as well as the bittering hops standing out nicely.

Service is pretty good. The kitchen is fast and with a couple bartenders on duty they'll make sure you have a beer. Friendly vibes all around and it seems like they care if you have a good time.

Selection is very good, although I do want maybe a couple more lagers, but I get why they did what they did, layering takes space and they do have 3 on tap right now, but they have 28 beers that they brewed on tap right now. Big on ales. In the light and refreshing section however you can find a pils, a saison, a hefeweizen, and a kolsch so there's definitely variety.

Food is very tasty and flavorful, I didn't get a pizza this time, but the beef nachos are good with seemingly homeade beer cheese sauce as well as shredded cheddar. The south of the border quesadilla is also loaded and very tasty and saucy even without added sour cream (it costs 50 cents afterall)

Lively brewpub in shopping plaza. Large sidewalk/ parking lot patio, taproom has L-shaped bar in back right hand corner that seats about 20 and additional tables about the room. Packed Friday night crowd. 26 or so beers on tap, I enjoyed the Hop Slugger very much. Friendly efficient bartenders. I did not try the food, but it looked real good.

been meaning to make it up here for awhile now, and i am very glad i did. large taproom a little off the beaten path as far as the brewery trail is concerned. welcoming patrons and bar staff alike, everyone was extremely friendly. i could not believe how many beers they had on, maybe more than twenty, all their own. a lot of them looked like flavored beers, you know, the same base stout, one with walnut and cherry, one with raspberry and chocolate, that kind of thing. lots of syrups i suspect, but cool they have so many options and seem to be interested in experimenting quite a bit. i was very happy to have the weiss, it was one of the better versions i have had of the style, and is frankly quite comparable to some of the better german examples. i was really impressed with it. they had a nice menu for a brewery too, i had only snacky type food, but it was prepared well and served up hot. i like the big bar and all the space in here, very relaxed feel to it. overall maybe not the best beers in denver, but i think they definitely offer up something unique and high quality as far as the liquid is concerned, and a very welcoming and friendly homey sort of vibe. i will be back when in that part of town again. looks like a lot of brewing capacity too, maybe we will see some packaged beer before long. my vote would be for that delicious german wheat!

Service was pleasant and prompt. The problem is with everything else.

First and foremost: the beer:
We tried various versions of the Cow Tipper Milk Stout. Without going into detail about every one, basically they all tasted like fake flavoring was squirted into each one to get the different versions. None were terrible, but they were not good either.

The food tasted like it was frozen and microwaved to barely warm, raw in the middle, doughy, grocery store freezer fare.

We really wanted to like what they had to offer, but we just didn't. Not a single thing.

The people were nice and the service was good. But unfortunately nothing else was.
