Talk about nailing each beer style, this place oozes quality. The beers they make are outstanding and when folks have conversations about the best breweries in NJ Glasstown needs to be included. Love their IPAs in the gamer series (Mosaic Man, Danky Kong, Super C, etc). Label game is best in the biz too!

This brewery in far southern New Jersey is an absolute gem. The tasting room is lively, the service good, and the beer is outstanding. Another plus is that it's located adjacent to Millville Airport. When we visited, we were able to view some vintage WWII aircraft which made for an unexpected treat.

I have been hear twice in the past year. Honestly, other than being better than your run of the mill macro breweries, Glasstown is nothing special. If you are on the hunt to try local brews, that would pretty much be the only reason you would feel the need to check it out. It is an extremely small warehouse in the middle of the Millville airport. You can bring your own food, and the second time I went it looked like they had some sort of grill set up with a limited menu, but it was clear that you weren't going there with dining as your intention. Anyway, onto the beer.
I have had the following at their establishment: 609 IPA, Fortescue Fishermans Ale, Smith and Wood Foundry Porter, A Stout with No Name, and Nightcap Belgian ale. The beer is all similar in this; these brews have no head retention at all. If there is a head on the beer when they get it to you (and a small head at that) it will be gone within the minute, and will be near impossible to revive. Even the Nightcap belgian tripel was served in a tulip and retained no head. The beers are all lacking any delectable aroma, and really just feel like baseline standards of the styles. Nothing to be impressed by here, obviously just a local favorite to the uninitiated craft beer fan.

Best brewery in NJ. Each type of beer they make becomes the standard I judge other beers of that type. Maurice River Bourbon Brown hands down most delicious beer you'll ever have.

Glasstown is just a year old but they absolutely nailed all the beers I tried over two visits (with 10 beers on tap when I went). You can get pints, four-beer flights ($6 for 4 six-ounce pours), and growlers to go. The brewery is in an old warehouse building and you can wander around the warehouse to check out where the beer is made. You can either do a self-guided tour or they'll be happy to do an impromptu tour if it's not too busy at the time. My second visit I spent half an hour chatting with the owner (Paul) as he showed me around. Overall, an awesome place with great people and amazing beer!

A nondescript building at the Millville airport. Just a small warehouse with the brewery just off of the bar. But its a great place to hang with some first class beer. 8 of their beers on tap. Fast, friendly bartenders with the owner usually there to talk to and answer any beer related question. You can bring some food to enjoy with their great beers. Love going there to hang with the hubby and friends
