Served on tap at Company 7 BBQ in Englewood, Ohio. The appearance is excellent--it's copper in color, almost red, and it was served with a huge head that receded very slowly. The glass was full of lacing. From there, things were not quite as great. The smell was mild and smelled of bread. In the taste was sweet caramel and the taste of biscuits along with citrus from the hops. This was less bitter and hoppy than I expected, but the alcohol was concealed nicely. The mouthfeel was fairly full, with moderate carbonation. Overall, this is a pretty decent double pale ale, and while not as hoppy and bitter as I would like, it's a beer I would certainly try again.
