Notes / Commercial Description:
Saint Arnold Amber Ale is the brewery's flagship product and first official brew. A well balanced, full flavored, amber ale, it has a rich, malty body with a pleasant caramel character derived from a specialty Caravienne malt. A complex hop aroma, with a hint of floral and citrus comes from a combination of Cascades and Liberty hops. It has a rich, creamy head with a fine lace. The light fruitiness, characteristic of ales, is derived from a proprietary yeast strain.

a clear bright golden straw colored body with a quick rising and settling head. smell and taste are one in the same. faint grains and cracker biscuit aromas. mouthfeel is medium to thin with decent carbonation. has a clean crisp finish with a touch of bitterness. overall this is a good beer to make an all day session with. really enjoying it while doing yard work.

Acquired from a beer trade with Dolph1979...

Great appearance! Crystal clear, transparent golden amber color with a thick, white head. Nice continuing carbonation bubbling up throughout...

The smell is of light grains and an appealing grass-like hop aroma.

Light biscuit flavors predominate. The beer finishes slightly smooth and sweet with only a hint of bitterness.

Medium in body. Extra fine carbonation smooths things out

A fair enough amber beer. Nothing extraordinary, but good enough to go back to again.
