Looks good, dark amber medium white head. Not much smell. Taste of sweetish toasted malt with an off putting sour finish. A lingering aftertaste but not in a good way. Maybe I’m too English and not Germanic enough. Glad I only bought one. I love St Arnold but this ones not for me.

Dark red, brown color. Pretty well balanced between the malt and hops, maybe a little malt advantage. The abv is 6.6% and does casually make its predence known. This is like a meeting of the German feistbers and American Oktoberfest brews I've had. Good overall, but somewhat reminescent of a red ale.  Happy to have more next Fall

Pours a nice tall head that diccipates after few minutes. A little lacing. Looks like tea, an Amber color. Smells like a strong ale. Taste is not remarkable a little bitter with a smooth finish. Overall not one of my favorite beers but worth a try.

from a 12oz. can to my mug, pours a golden amber color, with a large loose white head that goes away fast. To the nose very malty, but nothing special, tastes pretty good, with a bit of a fermented after taste, it's not a bad beer, but to me it's nothing special

This is more of an American take on an Oktoberfest. Medium-heavy body, dark amber, with a sort of autumn spice background note that another reviewer also noted. No banana phenols to speak of. If you like SA Oktoberfest, this is a beer to try.
