A: Pours a turbid, cloudy reddish brown color. A dense off white colored head forms and gently recedes in a minute to a light ring. Spotty patches of lace are left behind.
S: Hmm, can't put my finger on the nose exactly. Though it is pleasing. A mix of American hops up front that is slightly citrus and piny. Baked bread and rye come next, and finishes with some banana esters. Very interesting.
T: Like the nose, it is a very interesting mix of light citrus hops, baked bread, and spicy rye. Banana esters are much more apparent. A bit of sweetness in the middle, but finishes dry. Love it, I keep wanting to come back and see what I can pick out next.
M/O: A medium body with crisp carbonation. A touch messy, but overall well defined. The bready dry finish is really welcoming. Something I am really enjoying, and will be getting more while it is still available.
This is really interesting, but more than that, it is something I want to come back to. Which is not always the case. The American hops, rye malt, and weizen yeast really work well together. Well done.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: Hazy brown with 1/2 finger of head
Smell: Yeast esters with banana and some floral/herbal hop aromas
Taste: Complex with citrus hop notes and rye spice with the banana and clove notes interplaying together
Mouthfeel: Medium body
Overall: This would only be the second time I have had this style. I personally don't favor the fruity flavors in yeast-forward beers but the rye and hops help to really balance it all together to produce a complex, yet refreshing beer.
