Gineer. Beerin. Whatever. It's terrible. Give me a Miller Lite to cleanse my soul.

This one was ok, but I probably didn't get a good taste. I had this at a beer festival a few weeks ago and this beer was released 9 months ago. Sadly the hops had faded.

Pours a cloudy deep copper color with a 2 finger width foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Has a deep, boozy aroma. Malty, gin, caramel and floral hops are all present. Smooth and creamy taste. Very malty up front with a nice, strong bitter hop, ending in a strong gin taste. Hints of caramel. Not the biggest fan of gin, so it is a little over the top for me, initially but grew on me. Very complex beer, though. Medium bodied with mild to moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Zax. Murky amber body with light beige head. Sweet, almost syrupy malts, lightly hopped. Gentle warmth comes in late, deep in the gut. Sipp and enjoy.
