If I was allowed to drink only 1 beer for the rest of my life, I could die happy drinking this every day!

Enjoyed on draft at Saint Arnold's beer hall with lunch. All the classic notes for a BBA quad: brown sugar, cherry and assorted stone fruits, vanilla, barrel oak, malt sweetness. Delightful on the nose, and just a touch of fusels on the palate, but still delicious.

Nose is plum, dark fruits, bourbon, vanilla. Taste follows. Soft bourbon, vanilla, underlayed with ripe plums, rasins, caramel/toffee sweetness. Very complex, lots of flavors woven together nicely. Nothing dominates.

Poured dark mahogany .. same in glass.. little head and little to moderate carbonation
Ripe dark fruit. I mean raisins and plums. Fresh cut oak. Hint of bourbon.. malty sweetness on the back..
Taste follows the nose from front to back. . A lot more oak.. cherries on the finish with a barrel char. .
Feel is medium plus... overall a fantastic bba quad

12oz bottle poured into tulip glass.
A: Body has a nice caramel color with fairly good clarity which is not very common on a Quad head is a small slightly soap affair.
S: Very muted nose at first slight toffee and some alcohol. Let it set for about five minutes brought some nice dates raisins, burnt sugars, toffee and vanilla.
T: Smooth caramel toffee, plums, raisins, figs, and some light alcohol.
M: Soft feel viscous and oily coays the tongue.
O: This was a fairly decent quad but it wasn't extraordinary either, almost more of a middle of the road quad they decided to barrel age.
