Year round re-release of DR11. Poured from a 22oz bomber into a Duvel tulip glass to enhance the aroma. Some sort of bottling code on the neck but I couldn't decipher...but I know it's fresh as it was recently released. Was a clear amber color with good carb streams. Had a large foamy head that settled into a thick foam cap (more than in original DR11 review). Good quick sliding lace with a lot sticking (again more than original).

The aroma was solid with grapefruit and other citrus from the start with the pine resin becoming more pronounced as it warmed up. Some malt but this is a hop show. The taste was heavy c-hops with good pine and malt balance to offset. My original review gave aroma and taste 4's but this re-release seems to have been improved and I am now bumping to 4.5s. This is great and went from not in my top tier to now being top tier. Mouthfeel was medium with good carb and a citric aftertaste.

Overall, went from being a good DR11 to a great Endeavour. Near the best for the DR series. Last review noted that something was missing for me but whatever that was they fixed it. Avail here in TX obviously not as full year. Rotation - this will be a huge player in my rotation . [H;Y]

Pours a deep Amber. Not much head. Smells like grapefruit, mango, and pine. Tastes initially sweet like pineapple and nice malt. Immediately taken over by hops. Good mouth feel with sticky resinous quality that finishes dry. Good brew.

The more of these I drink, the more I like them. Super enjoyable/ drinkable brew at 8.9%. You barely notice the ABV. The hop/ malt balance is excellent, each distinguishable, but in perfect harmony, not opposition.

Not that Saint Arnie is known for being IPA innovators, but as a Texan, I can say this is probably their best IPA offering to date. So good, and a bang-for-buck winner at $6 a bomber.

Served in a tall tulip on tap at BJ's Willowbrook in Houston. Really pretty coppery amber hue with a nice , white head that lasted well. The aroma was of tropical fruits and citrus. Nice bitterness on entry which deepened on the palate. Plenty of malt to balance all those IBU's. A very well-balanced DIPA, for sure. I actually prefer the hop profile of Art Car (yes, I know that's a bit of "apples to oranges" comparison since Art Car isn't an Imperial) but this is certainly a very well made beer that I'll bet would gain some complexity with a little bottle age.
