While this tour was very detailed and the drinking hall was cool; the limited beer selection killed it for me. Everything offered I could've gotten at the local publix. Some of the rare beers hidden throughout Houston at the time were not even offered.

The vibe was really cool here and the tap room is fun, but their beer selection isn't great. They didn't have food the day I was there so nothing special.

While their new facility is a wonder to behold (walking around the production floor with rows of 240BBL fermenters is inspiring), I will say that I miss their old facility where the tour took place on the production floor rather than a hall. Don't get me wrong, it's a great hall, but I enjoyed walking around and seeing the fermenters and other brewing equipment whenever I wanted.... I might just be selfish though.

When visiting a friend in Houston we went to St Arnold. It has a very nice space inside. Long tables. Pay for a glass and get four tasters. Each is about 8oz which is great, and you keep the glass which is a small bonus. You can also bring food in as we did. We brought in some stuff from the food truck parked outside. Beer is mostly good. They have a couple very nice beers like Endeavor and fancy lawnmower. No table service so I couldn't speak for that but the bar service was very good and quick since lines form fast and are constant especially on a Saturday. Selection is pretty good with about six regular beers on tap as well as a seasonal and some special offerings.
Overall, a great place in Houston worth checking out and returning too.

My wife and I toured the brewery on Labor Day. I was excited to tour the brewery while on vacation. Unfortunately, when we got there because it was at lunch time in order to sample the beer we had to buy lunch. Not sure if that was because of the holiday or not but the lunch was $19.00 per person. That included lunch which was nachos, chili dog, and then all the flagship beer that you wanted while eating. I guess its not too bad of a deal but it wasn't ideal for us because we only could stay there for about 30 minutes due to our flight home. They were offering tours for $7or $8 later in the day but we didn't have the option of staying for that. When we asked if we could just pay to sample the beer the girl at the counter acted like we were crazy for asking and was rather rude even when we explained our situation. Aside from that the brewery was nice and even though we were rushed we had a good time. I had tried all of there flagship beers before except for the Elissa IPA and the Santo. I really liked the Santo. They also had Octoberfest on tap as their seasonal. I also tried the Icon Green, but you had to pay $6 for a pint of it because it is one of their special offerings and wasn't offered along with their regular beers.
