My first sample from this brewery.
A: Dark amber body. Almost no head save for a little ring around the rim.
S: Perfumey orange marmalade. Cough syrup.
T: Repeats the nose but the cough syrup is more prominent. I don't mind that at all. The mouthfeel though – the beer is almost flat! A fairly bitter aftertaste but it's a fairly sweet beer.
O: Tastes great but needs more delicate effervescence. Considering the brewery shop is charging £5 for this little bottle I could be a lot more pissy with my words, but it's my first beer from them and I'm hoping I'm going to be pleasantly surprised by the rest of their stuff.
