STYLE Vienna Lager | ABV 4.7% | AVAILABILITY Year-round

Toasty, Bready, Hay, Clean

Florida is quickly catching or even surpassing other areas of the US for better beer, even in the newer realm of “craft” lagers. VTwin is a charm of a brew, as clean as a lager can get. Somewhat of a malt bomb but no clingy sweetness. I have to keep on looking at the can to re-convince myself that this is not from some Old World Austrian brewery. Motorworks is off the races with this one.

Definitely a great session beer (abv. 4.7%). Hits all the notes as to character for the type.

Color is a very bright copper. A nice foamy head settled down to some bits of wispy foam that lasted all the way. A bit of a bread like malt smell but the taste brings out just enough hop bitterness to make it interesting. The balance of hops and malt are on point. The carbonation level and mouthfeel are superb. This is a great beer that could be drank all day with its moderate ABV. If I can lay my hands on it I can certainly see this one making it to one of my home taps. It's that good.

From can dated 5/29/2015. Pours a nice clear light Amber with light cream 3 finger head. Smell is not to impressive. Tastes real good! There is a slight metallic taste that turns to a mellow malt flavor then with almost no aftertaste. Overall very good easy drinking lager. I'll definitely drink this again. 4.00

Pours a nice golden copper colour, thin layer of head with some retention and spotty lacing. Nose is toasted bread, sweet grass, and burnt sugar. Flavors are bready wheat and caramel, with grassy hops and a caramel finish. Solid representation of the style.
